Pfizer
Everyone at work had the Pfizer so not sure. I thought everyone was exaggerating, karma for me as I lie under my blanketok thanks. my mum came back from retirement (she's been a nurse for 40 years) and is now putting vaccines in switzerland. she also got the pfizer one herself and said she felt the 2nd one a lot more than the first one.
with AZ it's apparently the other way around innit? the first one is the one people feel more?
Ouch, I hope the headache will not last long.Only a sore arm from the first jab but this second one..... flu like symptoms last night and a headache from hell

There are issues with Moderna and pfizer too. but these side effects are not being investigated Those estimates are crazy high and way overstated. Have to remember a relatively small number of younger people have received vaccines of any kind and if AZ is a risk Janssen very likely will be too. They are based on similar tech.
There are billions of dollars of profits for US and Euro pharma at stake if confidence in the not-for-profit option is knocked. Drug companies have killed for less. In the end there has to be a logical explanation for one vaccine being risky over another and nobody has even postulated a hypothesis on that. It all stinks !
Whats the equivalent stats for the other vaccines? They are saying the blood disorder conditions can be as high of 1 out of 100k. I mean, there is definitely cause for fuss. I don’t want to pile on AZ, but it’s not great news. The US will never use AZ, so that’s a pretty good chance.
Germany to restrict AstraZeneca use in under-60s over clots
German health officials have agreed to restrict the use of AstraZeneca’s coronavirus vaccine in people under 60, amid fresh concern over unusual blood clots reported in a tiny number of those who received the shotsabcnews.go.com
C'mon Spain, get a move on....AZ administered to over 65 in spain
Media ain't interested in good news. This is what happens when you use a vaccine....

We are at 43 deaths Vs 1,500 back in January, and 4K infections with schools back! I simply can not understand how this is not the story Vs 10-20 people having developed blood-clots. What am I missing here? 2,000 people die a year in car accidents, but we use cars!. Over the last year we have lost our ability to weigh risks. I really fear it will take a long time to get this back.
It will be when we get a few months down the line and the numbers are even more apparent. This is what happens when you use a vaccine....

Not as many issues with Pfizer/Moderna.
Good write up on the situation

I looked it up, 12 - 13 people per month on average are killed by food poisoning (UK). FFS that will soon be larger than the numbers dying with covid (and of course covid might not be the cause of death, they just sadly die with it). This is what happens when you use a vaccine....

Yeah i don't get that either. If you're vaccinated then why be angry at people that aren't. You're protected sure? There are people on other forums that insist lockdown (here) should continue - one reason being "because BAME people are reluctant to take the vaccine".
So basically they want us to stay indoors until those who don't want it don't get it...so we're indoors for ever. There's no reasoning with them that if they haven't had the vax, they are the ones at risk, not the ones who have had it. Don't hold us back! Anyone who hasn't had their turn yet can still party, just make sure they distance, mask up and keep sanitised - and if they get covid the odds are stacked in their favour that they'll be OK.
Rant over.

I found it interesting the theory they might be injecting the vaccine into a vein instead of muscle. Thus the vaccine infects platelets which make protein spikes and sometimes have this rare clotting reaction. Why AZ worse for that than say Janssen/Sputnik vaccine, I dunno.Only comments section on the internet that is actually good. Just a bunch of science nerds debating stuff.
