Think that's representative of most of us to be fair  I've never felt motivated to train at home and despite weeks of doing it last year outside domestic issues crowded it out after Summer (and a rubbish Winter didn't help).Still haven't started running again - Spring is very demanding in the garden and every time I think about going for a run I'm hit by the guilt of 1,000 jobs that need doing urgently and get paralyzed.

I reckon we're all suffering some degree of cabin fever, demotivation and/or depression. When the weather cheers up and I get outside even to do a bit of weeding in the sunshine my mental state improves 100% even if it's cold and windy. At some point very soon the TRX/KO8 is coming out again and I'm going to start some short 20 minute workouts that won't make me feel wiped out to break the ice. This can;t go on indefinitely - something has to change and it's all in our own hands !!!
Agreed, I think it’s very good for our mental health isn’t it.

I’ve got a few garden projects lined up for when I’m next home, and I’m itching to get my teeth into them.

With the better weather coming I definitely enjoy being outside.

Life is better outdoors I think.

It's certainly not been fun. I go to the gym alone so it isn't really a social thing but just being around people and lifting more than them builds me up 😂. I even have more time at home as there is no travelling etc, but of course it's just not the same feeling.

I've managed to keep up 5 days a week but i can't wait for 12th April 😍

Yeah I’m the same mate, I’m looking forward to getting some proper gym training in. Always train that bit harder if it feels competitive and I’m amongst others.

There will be a bloody UK DOMs pandemic next, after everyone starts smashing into the gym again after the 12th April 😄

mate pre covid we never even used to turn the TV on. maybe when we were hanging out our arses we would have a series bingeing day in the recovery position but that's about it. being outdoors just feels like your weekends or personal time goes so much further. now I feel like a pale hermit who's completed Netflix and Prime  loads of good walks around here but the busies are all over them atm

Well British summertime is officially starting this weekend I think mate :D👍

Time to get back outdoors and enjoy the lighter nights too.

Trying to figure out the local-lingo for busies 🤔

Police - bizzies?

There are 3 different Russian vaccines. Are such reports any more credible than claims of lethal side effects from pfizer, Moderna and Astrazeneca vaccines ? Sputnik V should go through independently administered trials in Europe, Africa/Asia and the Americas comparable with the others that have been approved for use. The US has forced Astrazeneca to conduct American trials in order to be licenced there so it's not like areas of the world don't impose this requirement in respect of vaccines developed abroad. It's hard to know whether to trust Chinese or Russian vaccines more tbh - but one thing's pretty sure UK will not be approaching Russia to co-operate in mutual production, such is the mistrust of a country which whose agents blatently came in and used nerve agents on people granted asylum here !
Well...what happened here is...I had a double dose of the Chinese vaccine about February (we went into the office one morning and it was done like that)..,our lives are still normal - not lockdown etc since last September (yes we had a peak after Uk travelers fronted at New Year but it’s all under control). Of course things are a bit different. Let’s see if my vaccine works? All I can say is life is pretty normal here!

Quiet on here today. Everyone out enjoying the sun? 😎 We're in a positive week in the UK. Press conference very upbeat, although caution still applied

Some interesting data shared. Basically they are very open about the fact that transmissions will uptick significantly as the economy opens up

We just have to make sure that the 'up-tick' is the right kind of up-tick. i.e. those under 50, minimal / no hospitalizations and deaths etc.

I'm glad to read that they are expecting infections to rise but that appears to be an expected part of the unlocking so that continues as planned?

Also, did I hear that the date of the announcement of flights/holidays overseas could be made in Early April rether than after the 12th? As in the Tuesday after Easter Mon?

EDIT yes, apparently April 5th (Easter Mon)
