Agreed, I think it’s very good for our mental health isn’t it.Think that's representative of most of us to be fair I've never felt motivated to train at home and despite weeks of doing it last year outside domestic issues crowded it out after Summer (and a rubbish Winter didn't help).Still haven't started running again - Spring is very demanding in the garden and every time I think about going for a run I'm hit by the guilt of 1,000 jobs that need doing urgently and get paralyzed.
I reckon we're all suffering some degree of cabin fever, demotivation and/or depression. When the weather cheers up and I get outside even to do a bit of weeding in the sunshine my mental state improves 100% even if it's cold and windy. At some point very soon the TRX/KO8 is coming out again and I'm going to start some short 20 minute workouts that won't make me feel wiped out to break the ice. This can;t go on indefinitely - something has to change and it's all in our own hands !!!
I’ve got a few garden projects lined up for when I’m next home, and I’m itching to get my teeth into them.
With the better weather coming I definitely enjoy being outside.
Life is better outdoors I think.
