Yes, read that too. Each year the Flu vaccine is updated based on a dominant strain at the time. I believe because flu has been non existent (almost) this year, they have no idea what flu strain will need to go into the vaccine next year. However, I think some form of masks and social distancing people will continue with. We may find in Dec-Feb in northern Europe older people may choose to wear masks in public IF there is a high flu-season year?

10,000 officially (England). Divide that by 365 and it's a daily rate of 27 (covid is 3x that currently). So when Covid is below 27, no doubt we will be locked in to save the 10,000 flu victims and the NHS.

I had mine (AZ) on Wednesday afternoon and felt surprisingly ok yesterday and still fine today. Had hoped for a quiet work day but sadly not!
Arm a little tender but no different to a vaccine for travelling to SE Asia, etc.

I think the excess cancer deaths over the next few years will be another tragedy we have yet to face. The case of Sarah Harding from Girls Aloud is a case in point. She's 39.

If you are 50+ and not been contacted, they are saying to get in touch with gp/nhs as you should have been. Probs been missed or they have wrong contact details for you.
Under 50, no idea but seems quite a few are getting it without any medical conditions that would put them in the vulnerable group
