Some ‘interesting’ quotes re nightlife industry on the news this morning? an mp admitting nightclubs etc are gunna get no more support from gov. Few dj’s (Lawler for example) are tweeting about it if anyone wants to see the interview

didn't know they had any support so far for them to be honest...

govts do not realise how important the clubbing sector is....for ravers is enjoyment and a release not to mention the amount of job losses there could be
 
balearics update: it's looking better, number of new covid cases decreasing quite a lot now. for ibiza we 'only' had 19 new cases yesterday and ZERO in the last 24h, but mind it was the weekend. am sure we'll see higher number again this week, but am hoping the downwards trend continues.
 
Further measures being implemented in the north east. Now illegal to go and socialise with anyone from another household/go to another household etc. I’ve heard there’s been plenty grassing going on as well with people’s neighbours calling the law:mad:.This country is f***ed
 
A friend of mine was out on Saturday and said it just wasn't enjoyable at all, the owner continuously coming around and telling people to sit down as the police are outside etc.

Contrastingly I was at a wedding on sat which went on until 1am then 4am in the residence bar, with well over 100 people. And it was great!!
(although now nervously waiting for tack n tace to be in touch ?)
 
I think san an might soon be out of its local lockdown. their incident rate has gone down lots and now it's mainly ibiza town and lately also santa eulalia that has new cases. 27 new ones in last 24hrs. but I'm positive we'll soon be pretty OK again here. also mallorca looks a lot better now.

i also miss the dancefloor more than i could imagine, but i'm afraid the whole thing will accompany us for at least another 1 year :(

I don't doubt that it will stick with us for quite some time still.

I know about the story. and if I personally had to choose between the 'risk' and going back to normalcy, I would totally go for the vaccine.

jesus christ it’s got worse. Another mp on sky news this morning saying they want people in the music industry to retrain in terms of getting a different career. It’s on the sky news twitter feed if you wanna see?
