The weekly numbers for the Netherlands are out and like I said before, it's totally crazy we still have restrictions in place. Nightlife, bars, restaurants are dying and most business still work from home if you still have your job.

  • Over 180.000 people did a test this week
  • A little bit over 5000 of those tests were positive PCR tests (I'm still not saying Covid infections, cause that's dubious)
  • 43 new hospitalizations
  • 17 deaths
  • ICU patients still around 30, has been that way for weeks.
  • Since June no one under the age of 50 has died WITH (not of) Covid (before that time only 46 people under the age of 50 died WITH Covid)

While I was joking about not knowing 6+ people, I don't know how these youngsters cope with big groups gouing out clubbing or that.

How many times you or your mates say "wait here, I'll be right back", that leads to an epic adventure to find each other again ?.

I know mate, hopefully start hearing some good news soon. The vaccine trials maybe, I'm sure we are due an update on the latest trials?

Would be cool as fcuk if they just pulled it out of the bag and we could start getting back to normal somehow. The old normal, not this fcuking new normal bollocks.

the oxford trial had actually just to be stopped temporarily because one guy had unexpected reactions.

it'll be a long waiting game all of this
 
If there's one thing this crisis has made clear...it caused me to have way too much time to post here and upsetting other people so I hope this ends soon so I can get back to my posts about the island, the weather, elrow, inflatables instead of vaccins, rape cases and politics ?

New theme : When will season 2021 start ?

My opinion : August / September 2021, 2 or 3 months. Smaller than usual , but everyone knows : Good times are back. 2022 back to normal .

Yep, that's British politicians for you.

They will spend years and years debating and harrumphing about whether or not to have a badger cull or ban fox hunting, but will invade in Iraq in a heartbeat on a wim of dodgy weapons of mass destruction evidence ?‍♂️
