I think the Canaries should be ok because the highest concentration is Catalonia and Aragon but deffo keep an eye on the evolving stats.

Those that have died should be asked "were you happy that there was no lockdown or would you rather have had lockdown and survived?"
But again, if Sweden had lockkdown, would the figures have been so much better??
Looking at the tables though, it does appear that the countries with no/partial (SWE) or late (UK) lockdown suffered worst, ESP and I with bad figures can be explained by them beign first to gett he virus in large numbers, no time to lockdown.

Except the figures actually don’t show that. Here’s sweden’s all cause mortality plotted against it’s neighbouring countries. Hardly any difference at all. Don’t know why they threw Scotland in the mix btw.

I’ll leave it there. I’ve supplied evidence for everything I’ve said and just get talked down by the grown ups who know better.

Sweden didn’t lock down. And now they are in the clear. Belarus didn’t lock down at all, didn’t even cancel large gatherings. Stadiums full etc. Low death rate.

hey look, believe whatever you want. But less people are dying now than normally do at this time of year. Especially in Europe. Meanwhile more children have died in the U.K. as a result of missing cancer treatment than have died of covid.

Science works like this. The knowing about some issues is growing , so you change your opinion.

It’s not my opinion. I have provided evidence that I have read. I didn’t produce those charts. Credible scientists and statisticians did. Why is the information I have provided any less credible than what everyone else is saying?

Are you arguing here that there should be literally no mitigation at all? Ie. we should carry on completely as normal? If you are then you are providing stats on a country (Sweden) that didn't carry on completely as normal. Your argument lacks any credibility.

I don't think a video where a scientist that isn't qualified in this field admits he's not qualified but feels his profession is better positioned to make a call on this is the mic drop you think it is.

What makes him more qualified than any other scientists? And didn't we get over 'this is only as dangerous as flu' around April time? It is clearly more dangerous than 'flu'

Because everything he predicted has come to fruition. The scientist we followed. Dr Neil Ferguson was WAY OFF, has admitted he was wrong and got caught breaking the lockdown rules because he didn’t think it applied to him
