A mask is not going to do a thing to protect you from people not respecting SD measures especially if they are not wearing a mask. Better get a face shield if you are worried about that !

Aye - but seeing people wearing it starts to normalise it and hopefully others then start taking similar precautions.

Went to the pub last night and have to say it felt odd and flat.
Cant fault the pub for the work they had put in plenty of sanitiser available, one way system, app to order from, screens at the bar, staff with masks and face visors etc...but staying at your own table in near silence wasnt great.
The pub is a family freindly chain one so never a wild riot, but atmosphere would normally build after 9 on a Saturday but it never got going. Also noticed barely anyone was eating which is where these places make their money. Drinks at home is still a better option for me.

It's the only reason masks are not compulsory in shops in England by now I reckon. Boris is having kittens at the idea of being seen to follow Sturgeon's lead on it

I'm going to call them tomorrow. I'm not going trance week now. Going to see if I can use the deposit for next year's. Regarding my second week. Reason for cancellation was the flight was cancelled. Rebooked a day later now. Ibiza 20 is back on

Because of Ireland's great relationship with USA we've been leaving Yanks from Texas of all places to visit last few weekends to go on diddly leprechaun Trips around the west coast and Kerry.. cases of covid jumped for first time in weeks

Because Scotland has a lower rate of infection than England. Nicola Sturgeon hasn't ruled out quarantining English people in future.
She really wants to eradicate the virus from Scotland (so it's claimed), where other countries are happy keeping it a low level.

The First Minister renewed her warning about the border but said the “fundamental responsibility” for eliminating the virus lay with Scots following social distancing rules as lockdown eases this week.
Posting this in here as there’s been a bit of talk about flights etc. If anyone can help / info be much appreciated:
We have booked with Jet2. 4 of us due to go in September - 2 rooms. One of the lads has backed out (long f***ing story). What are the chances of that being refunded and 3 of us going into 1 room? I’ve looked on the website and it’s all pretty vague about this situation.
