Per that article, mere *participation* in a private party exceeding the 30 indoor / 70 outdoor rule will win you a fine between 3,000-60,000 euros. Is that correct?
It seems the EU entry restrictions can be waived by member countries. Croatia is allowing US travelers to enter, without test or quarantine. Unless border checks *within* the EU between member countries have been introduced (anyone know?), some folks on here might be in luck for an IBZ trip after all.
EDIT: I see now Croatia is not part of the Schengen Zone, so probably no dice after all!
Croatia now allowing travelers to skip testing, isolation if they're vaccinated - The Points Guy
If the aqua lakes of Plitvice or the red-roofed city of Dubrovnik has been on your list of travel destinations, you'll be happy to hear that the European country of Croatia is open to tourists from all countries. There are still various testing and quarantine requirements in place, however, so...thepointsguy.com
We’re used to the masks as they’ve been compulsory here since March. So it’s no change for us.
it’s literally just a mask. I actually don’t see the big deal. As soon as you’re sat at your dinner/bar table or on your beach towel you can remove it
Greetings from germany.
Going to Ibiza because race , sexual orientation , where you come from and other things dont matter.
Dont know what people which are not understanding the island want there. Better go to Magaluf or El Arenal.
We are One Nation under One Groove.
And we are here to stay ( New Order )
Imagine having to keep reminding yourself on ‘holiday’ though. Constantly reminding yourself when you should/shouldn’t be wearing one. No thanks
Isn't it funny how in the past if you covered your face you couldn't get into a shop or a bar - hey, try to get in some bars round here with a cap or hoodie on - now it's obligitory! Meaning how fecking stupid the "no caps" rule was.I think if people want to take the risk and go on holiday rn, then the small matter of wearing a mask is quite a small price to pay
No caps no hoodies was just cover for not leaving certain types in...I was in town earlier and all the junkies are easier to spot now as they are all wearing masks and gloves ?Isn't it funny how in the past if you covered your face you couldn't get into a shop or a bar - hey, try to get in some bars round here with a cap or hoodie on - now it's obligitory! This is correct. It's not difficult to do. People just don't like being told they HAVE to do something. At this point wearing a mask is essentially a wearable IQ test and I really hope everywhere adopts the mask requirement.I think if people want to take the risk and go on holiday rn, then the small matter of wearing a mask is quite a small price to pay
It's annoying because us shiny heads get cold without a cap on.No caps no hoodies was just cover for not leaving certain types in...I was in town earlier and all the junkies are easier to spot now as they are all wearing masks and gloves ?

I am totally with you. Wearing a mask sucks, but the alternative is far worse. I had to wear a mask on holiday a couple weeks ago, at first it was annoying but I got used to it quickly. It honestly wasn't bad. The annoying part was having to remember it, once it became part of the daily routine I honestly didn't mind. It's not difficult, but it's not pleasant either. They're often uncomfortable, they get in the way when talking to people, and frankly I like to smile at people and see them smile back. When it comes to thinking about a holiday, I absolutely think it would diminish the experience and it's a factor on whether the trip would be worth the time and money.
That said, I do wear a face mask regularly as there's an important public need to do so. But I think a message of shared sacrifice for the common good is a lot more effective. For a lot of people (including me), being constantly yelled at to do something makes me less and less inclined to comply.
Had Trance week booked for beginning of September. Awaiting the inevitable news that will be cancelled as non of the events will obviously be on. Had a second concurrent week booked through Tui for 9-16th of September and was very shocked to receive an email yesterday saying it was cancelled. Thought things were on the up? No Ibiza this year
I’ve just started back at work last weekend (factory) we have to wear ours at all time’s as soon as we’re on site, it feels so clinical and your right you can’t see anyone smiling or having a laugh. I’m not looking forward to having to wear them in shops which looks like it’s coming soon in England. I’ll wear at work as I’m paid to but just not happy about being forced to to nip to the shopIt's not difficult, but it's not pleasant either.
