I've just been for my walkies, and at the end on a main road there's a lay-by caravan selling burgers, tea etc which you order at the van, and collect when shouted for, so all legal. People wander off and eat it in the vacinity, on forms, edge of walls etc. So why can't pubs do that with beers/ Buy, take outside, drink in the beer garden/car park with distancing?

A lot of small independent pubs around me are doing this. Or bring your own 2 Pint containers to be filled up. In fact my local micropub just delivered me some beers for the weekend.

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out over the coming weeks. President Macron has said he expects to know more at the beginning of June in relation to travel, but you can imagine if (acknowledging it's a massive IF) there continues to be no uptick in cases as countries come out of lockdown there's going to be huge pressure to reduce restrictions quicker than already planned.
 
Good news for all you Spanish Tortilla fetishes...Lidl are selling them in their "Spanish Week" both large and small. Well, they were, I've just bought them all up! Come in handy if our street has a VE-Day* safe distance party gathering tables deck-chairs whatever. I'll pour them some Spanish red too.

*It's a bank holiday on Friday supposedly to celebrate 75 years since the end of the war.

Our PM only knows one thing, when his girlfriend is on heat. Really is time we had a gay PM, look where the straight ones have got us....

But not Ruth. Please not Ruth Davidson. Has anyone seen her and Kim Jong-Un in the same room???

Unfortunately cant see it happening.
I think it will be a hell of a while before normality as we knew it happens again ?
Can't see pubs & clubs if & when they reopen & are subject to social distancing being anything like they were pre Covid & that's also assuming they sort out the airport/planes predicament & people can actually travel.
We realy need that vaccine.

End of September, me, from the UK. OK, it's the hope that kills you, but if I were french or German I'd be 80% sure. Being in the UK - for that alone - my chances are now down to 10%. And I'm not wholly convinced I want to fly.

They will find something. There are a some hopeful developments. But it lasts a little time ( next Year , middle , end )
Unless there is some secret thing anywhere( China ? )and they come up with it.

I think and hope middle of next year for vaccine and then people will be able to travel
