I’d say, if a key metric for overcoming covid is a strong respiratory system, I reckon there’s causation there, as there’s good evidence that asthma and other lung diseases are higher in urban areas. There is though something of a trade off as cities in the main have better healthcare than rural areas, but often have worse living conditions.
