Admittedly I cheated a bit by missing the main party but was a flawless day at Benimussa yesterday I thought. Venue, crowd, music and vibe was completely spot on. Sven restored my faith in him after a couple of relatively average showings last couple of times I’ve seen him, showed a great musical range yesterday.

Absolute pleasure to put some names to faces for people off here as well, what a sound bunch of people you all were!

And that’s it for Ibiza and me for another year at lest ?

Rabbit hole finished at 5. It was an sweaty dark intimate affair. He played starlight music sounds better with you and it was amazing times.

I thought Sven set in amnesia was brilliant, pounding techno which was just what I needed.

Also went to harvey at pikes before heading to amnesia, what a special special place that is.

this is the day in the year when after reading reviews I promise myself that I'm gonna return for the cocoon closing next year. Hope I still remember this bout of FOMO next summer.

Yeah Amnesia was really good. Really busy, but you were able to find room and people weren’t constantly bumping into you because the crowd was proper. And it wasn’t just the terrace...main room was very crowded when I gave it a visit. I thought it would be a good idea to try to go to the main room bathrooms from the opposite side of the terrace, that is an adventure when you’re blasting off.

Hilarious part of the night was when a group tied paper towels around their heads (from when Sven rolled them out to the crowd) and then one of them went on top of the middle podium, then crowd surfed with a roll of paper towels in hand all the way to Sven. Everyone cheered when he got there. Quite the scene.

I thought it was 1:30 - was at Anna then and thought there’s no way I’m leaving! We were actually in the terrace around that time so could have easily popped by at 2:30.

Another time, again ?
 
We will definitely go next year; the thing that made this good was the crowd (especially later on), and the atmosphere.

Music was hit and miss for me but I accept that lots of people have different taste to us; main disappointment was Ilario Alicante; everyone else played pretty much as I expected.

It was interesting to see how different Sven is in his own domain as opposed to playing somewhere like a club in a London; he seemed like the king of his domain at this event with the audience in the palm of his hand; not so much in London.

Massively regret missing the after party; from what I heard the night time part was off the hook.
