Re sven in Newcastle tomorrow - tickets still on second phase and i’ve heard the tickets that have been sold wouldn’t cover a 1/3 of the dancefloor in the main room! If that is correct i hope they put him upstairs (can’t believe im saying that!)

Could have sworn they sold him out for Motion last year? Sad state of affairs for the music scene up there if artists his calibre are selling that few tickets.

Sven in the upstairs room, or even think tank would be pretty sweet though!

Motion was a couple of years ago and they were a pretty big promotor up here, always rammed.

It is very sad indeed, somewhere like Cosmic would have probably been better for Sven looking at the sales. Mostly uni bods and young guns in the scene now and they want your Michael Bibi’s.

I also think the fact Sven is playing Edinburgh the weekend after will have had an effect. Not many people (fools!!) will want to see him twice in a week and anyone from Edinburgh or surrounding areas that may have travelled, likely won’t.

This does not sound good! Over from Dublin for this. What's the crowd in Digital like in general? Youngish, tech-house heads mainly?

Dont wanna be a jynx but i think the crowd that are going will be going for the music to this one.... other nights is what you mention though

Agree upstairs would be UNREAL. What you rekon capacity is up there ? 400?

Edit - i remember seeing solomun and david august in think tank or other rooms as it was then ...plus many more big names at motion events....imagine that now:lol:

Spent many a brilliant night in Digital and Shindig Etc when I was a student up there a good few years ago. Tbf theres nothing quite like a Geordie atmosphere at a rave when it really gets going up there.
