Cocoon @ PACHA discussion

They have Sven Väth listed every week (with exception of 4 July where no event listed). Maybe just a copy and paste error?

Also, the ticket pricing looks very interesting. Prices every week from €30.... and go up to €60 based on availability...

I don‘t think the listing is correct on there right now (re sven dates).

yes prices look good, who‘d have thought you can go to cocoon at pacha for the same prices or even a bit cheaper than it was at amnesia.

told you, pacha have made their homework for this summer

Ive also just gone on the website to look at tickets for when im there and to my horror, no July 4th date as said above. Really hoping this is an error

just hope he wont drop cheesy track such Madonna at the end of his set that oct 3rd :D
i'm more into classics such as Donna summer I feel love dropped by Derrick May at end of set in Rex club paris than Madonna, kylie minogue, ladygaga & all this kind of cheese...same for Damian Lazarus with this rnb hit at Dc10

in the case of 'la isla bonita' it was actually a guy in the crowd that brought the vinyl along to the party and handed it over to sven. and then sven played it as last tune. it was a good laugh IMO.

ok, for the story behing the scene(i thought it was coming from his dj bag),& nice move from him (djs don't like requests) ,if it was to please a request .

If you’re gonna go weird - go all out

I love Hawtin playing Self Control

i love self control by RAF, got it in vinyl 45T (the Laura Braningan version is OK ) but not too much Ritchie :D , unless it was about a mood, sorry for misconception

4th july is now back on pacha website as well.

I'd be cautious though in regards to their artist listing...currently on their website it looks as if sven would play every wednesday and I know that won't be the case. so if you want to go to cocoon...fine, go ahead. if you want to see sven...wait until the line ups are out.

I'm always excited to see the Cocoon lineups each year, but this year is another level altogether with the Pacha move and uncertainty around who will be involved.

For what its worth though in previous seasons there hasn't really ever been a bad week with or without Sven and I'm sure this season will be the exact same as always.

especially since they can go with one headliner less every week as there is no equal second floor at pacha. so I'm sure there will always be a huge name every week.

That part is to be seen now it seems. The pictures we saw from before the entire club was leveled on the inside. Obviously not to the scale/capacity of Amnesia but I'm not ruling out the possibility of a significantly larger second room than they have had before - but obviously this is all TBC

pacha have updated their listings to all TBC djs
clears up the original listings showing Vath playing every week (which he never does)
