Cocoon @ PACHA discussion

I was kind of hoping now that Cocoon is at Pacha, they will do the closing a week later, as Pacha closings are usually a bit later (Solomun, Mosaic, etc.)
It would of made a very nice week...
Or maybe - working on the assumption they close again next winter - they move Sven's +1 appearance to Solomun's last date. What a closing party that would be!

no and no.
one, as far as I know pacha will stay open again next winter just as it used to do before the refurb winter.
two, sven's solomun date is a different one.
...and three, closing on the 10th october was discussed for a while but in the end discarded

That actually doesn't make any sense to me... why would you want to go see Sven as a +1 when you can see him at the same place on a wednesday?Ahhhhh, so Papa does still have a +1 date then!
and regarding Cocoon closing, it was really wishful thinking on my part, as that would have opened up the possibility for me to do a few days in ibiza before ADE.
Usually nothing much going on that week other than Solomun closing.

I would think they plan it when sven‘s having a week he‘s not playing cocoon, same as he used to do at amnesia

well, if sven doesn't do one week, surely he will do the next one, it's still only 3 days apart from the +1 date.

last year he actually had a two week cocoon hiatus end of august / start of september.
I haven't got any inside info on the full line up yet, but just to point out it's totally possible that he doesn't play two cocoons in a row and would play s+1 right in that period...

I wonder if they will still do it the other way around, and have Solomun for a Cocoon date, which would mean double Solomun at Pacha that week.

last season sven played s+1 and the very next day an all night long set at amnesia. I find it pretty useless to continue inviting each other when they are at the same club. only advantage is that you get solomun and sven in one night, which is a great lineup of course.

Just curious, is there a reason why there are no further Cocoon parties listed in the party calendar beyond the opening, yet?
