Cocoon 2016

That blows, wonder wtf happened. I could have seen myself going to that if I was still in Ibiza and still alive in my hotel at that point from Cocoon!
 
Very strange.. I wonder what happened there.

Did anyone attend Cocoon this Monday? I know Solomun at Cocoon is usually one of the highlights of the Cocoon season.
 
I missed cova santa so can't comment on that. the only thing I've seen is something on cova santa fb so sven was there and played for a while, that much is sure.

cocoon was good and very busy. solomun was alright but didn't blow me away. there were various afters yesterday during the day, one with solomun, one with dixon & âme and a third one.
 
ok so just asked someone who was there. they had ongoing sound problems (the music kept stopping) and after a bit more than an hour sven was fed up with it it seems and left.
 
sounds fair enough, a top class dj needs the gear to work properly to not be portrayed as as good as the faulting equipment...

Im wondering what other thoughts on this are for anyone who was there? I just the other day listened to Solomun's 3 hour Parc del Forum Barcelona Off Week set and didnt really like it all that much although I recognize he often does take a much different turn in those type of sets than club sets.

HaHa. Typical Ibiza reaction from any group of friends attending the same event! I am learning that a lot of the time its not the music its the "state / space" they were in at the time.
 
I mean he even looks cool in a cleaners, holding a bag (OK slow day at the office).....

I thought Solomun was good with Dixon a couple of weeks back. From what I saw at the port last week it was up and down. He played like 3 good tracks in a row and then I dunno what happened
 
Anyone go last night?
My mates are all there and said that Ricardo was sensational for 2 hours but then "genuinely appeared to lose his mind circa 0530"

Hearing that Kristian tore the roof off pre Sven as well
 
got some mate that went there but as not into Techno neither house so his advice don't count :D
He told me he pay 45€ & its was minimal techno (meaning boring music? :lol:) after being to Guetta for big..
Should meet him & his 5 girls mates thursday at BMI...
