Stiv totally agreed, I have waited a couple years to hear Sven smash the inside room like he when the DJ box was higher. Hopefully this season it will happen.. I just find (unless it's an all night set) Sven being on the terrace for a couple of hours is never enough.. Hence why always try to get to the afters l.

So anyway everyone coming this week thoughts on Adam b2b with Ida this week? Or would we prefer Adam on his own?

@elmooreo Defiantly not Justin's remix. The remix he played was... Words can't explain but at the moment near perfect!

I wont be in attendance but I think Adam b2b with Ida on the terrace will be amazing. They play a killer, more grooving type sound together, and i think Ida's funky techno compliments Adam's more main room style very well. They are both versatile and from what i heard their set at the Sankeys Opener was amazing but a bit of a cluster f*** so I am sure it will be more enjoyable on the terrace for this one.
 
something I just posted on my facebook ;)

You don't often find me in DJ booths as I simply prefer to be in the crowd, dancing the night away with my friends on the dancefloor, where the party happens. That's what we did last night too...but then I heard this tune in the early morning hours. Neither me nor anyone around me had a clue what track it was and good old shazam was none the wiser. So I did invade the amnesia main room DJ booth, waited patiently until the man on the decks put on the next tune, then casually tipped him on the shoulder and said 'sorry, but I'd really REALLY like to know what that track was please'.

papa sven smiled knowingly, turned around, took the record off the turntable and handed me over the vinyl with a twinkle in his eye so I could have a look at it myself.

oh yes.

two birthday parties at the same time - both at dc10 - then cocoon until close. as mentioned in the tracks thread, sven played a very hard set and then got softer for the last hour.

adam & ida on terrace were also good!
 
Unrelated, but Defected was amazing last night. I some how passed out at the San Antonio bus station. 18 Euros for a mixed drink :$

Main room was proper sluts there to grab for Together
 
I found svens warmup for ame missing a bit in terms of coherence and drive but he more than made up for it with his techno set after ame, who was awesome btw.
 
Adam always records his sets its just a matter of what gets released, good chance you'll hear an hour of the set on Drumcode Radio though
