Not really sure Ten walls is going to play to be honest...
 
yeah he's off the line up for that night, currently a proper all night long by sven. let's see if they put on a replacement

Yea that was pretty much well established to happen as soon as all the chaos went down, I hope they leave it alone and let Sven go the entire night that way can start on terrace, catch Josh Wink in the middle and close out the terrace, on paper sounds excellente
 
Folks...I'm going to Cocoon in July 6th and I have to say that I'm little worried about my expectation from that party...
The fact is that I really wanna have some pumping Ibiza-Cocoon-techno with the glorious vibe of Terrace but it seems not fit with the artists from line up schedule for that night...
It is not that I don't like them...but Guy Gerber and Art Department sounds much more like a tripy sound instead what I wanna hear during my clubbing time in the white island...
Am I wrong????
Somebody can tell me what I supposed to expect...should I turn my game to Ants on saturday instead cocoon????

Okay, so the terrace might not be so bangin' in comparison to other techno nights, but you still have Papa Sven in the main room. It'll be fine.

I think it's a really good line-up. You will 100% have a great night.
 
true, the terrace will be a bit more on the 'trippy' side of things with AD and GG. but the main room will be what you want.

ants is rather tech-house than techno mostly. you could do both, but I really wouldn't miss cocoon :)

what kind of music is usually played in the main room in cocoon or is it different depending on the dj?
am heading there on the 20th july where joy orbison eats everything and subb-in are playing

tech house / techno depending on who plays. on 20th july prob a mixture of both with this line up.

If you want pumping techno then Sven in the main room is the best you'll ever get!

Terrace might not be at the same pace but on the other hand the combination of Sven in main + Flugel on Terrace is the best combo of the season, if you ask me. Other than opening/closing, Jul 6 would be my first pick.

Truly psyched for that evening - will be lucky enough to be there that week too. High fives if we run into each other ;)
 
Great write up on the review for the opening. Not tried to search for the version of inspector Norse remix he played at the afters it was so f***ed up that I don't think I'd enjoy it the same if I did find it! Have a good weekend be back for Monday night!
 
yeah I had heard that inspector norse for the first time in april (also played by sven), but haven't found it either so far!
 
For me Sven always = inside room

Hopefully one day I'll see someone hold it down in there as much as he has. I still never manage to get my head round to him on the terrace.. Cool it's a laugh its fun we talk..

Inside we dance.

Agree with you guys...I personally like when Sven start the night and make the warm up...it's brilliant how he conduct the dance floor while it is getting packed....travelling trough some dark, deep and progressive tracks and then when you realize it he blows everything away with his powerful techno...
