Cocoon 2015

monday 27th july

terrace
sven vath
tini

main room
adam beyer
paul ritch (live)
daniel stefanik

Love Adam Beyer in the Main Room. Go as far as to say he is my favourite Amnesia Main Room DJ (after Sven of course, but prefer him on the Terrace)....

Stivi, so far which date is appealing to you the most?

whoa that's a hard question. I think so far I like those four the best

opening (sven, dixon, recondite, scuba, ilario)
6th july (sven, mano, art department, guy gerber & roman flügel)
13th july (sven & solomun, kaden, schwarz & skream)
3rd august (sven and dixon again and klock, ilario and siragusa)

but then I'm also curious to see people like tini, joy orbison, carl craig, josh wink and of course adam beyer!

I guess you can all see I'm a bit biased really. but cocoon's just right up my street musically first of all, and out of all parties on the island, this is where I feel most comfy, most at home on the dancefloor because of how the crowd is put together. of course it's also got to do with the fact that I know the cocoon guys pretty well by now and there's always a huge contingent of friends around too. and then there are the afterparties of course ;) it's the night I visit almost religiously every week all season...

when the hyte thing came along, I have to admit I was a bit worried for cocoon. and I still think that 'everyone' (meaning all other nights in the same sector) will suffer a bit because of the simple fact another night is now bidding for the same punters. but hands down, team cocoon have done VERY well with those line ups so far. I can't effin' wait for monday nights!!! :)

klock! despite hyte.. and a second dixon date.

as far as I can see HYTE got nothing on cocoon this year, good to see. amazing lineups!

Again as Stivi, I'm biased as well, but they have most of my fav DJs there. Sven, Dixon, Guy Gerber, Josh Wink etc

Klock didn't appear on Hyte artwork but dettman did... Only one at each party? Or possibly still both to play Hyte?

I think Monday 29 June has everything for me: Terrace: Sven (all night long) and Main Room: Carl Craig, Josh Wink and Enzo Siragus

Man that is one solid night!

I'm here for June 29th and August 3rd, Really happy. Just wanted to see Ricardo in Amnesia as i never have. But really can't complain with them 2 lineups.

Probably seen Josh Wink in and out of Ibiza more than anyone the last 12 months. Hard to say that someone has established as him is getting better, but I genuinely think he is. Never ever lets me down!

I'll be for June 29th as well and also August 31st, I like the mix of talent on the 29th but if my second date is as good as what you got on the 3rd (Sven, Dixon, Klock to say the least) i would be really happy. Would really love to catch Dixon on that terrace but hoping somehow to get at least him or Beyer for the 31st. All in all on paper, i think Cocoon lineups for this year are looking even stronger than last.

Did you go to krankbrother at Studio 338 the other week?

No sadly missed that one! You?

Didn't make it (was a poor week!) Heard he delivered, but Paul Woolford went on afterwards and killed the vibe (which surprises me in itself).

I have a few issues with that venue.

I'm not totally sold on it yet, I must say. Would be interested to know how they're doing financially. I wasn't convinced they'd last the year, but they have. Fair play to them in that respect.

It's a convenient location for me being from Kent compared to other London venues.

I think Josh Wink is a damn hard act to follow. At Cocoon/Origins last year Luciano followed him, and he never took it to the heights of Josh Wink. Never seen him play a super long set - but I'd imagine Josh Wink is one those DJs like Sven or Digweed that gets better and better the longer they go on

The door policy is just weird. I've not been on a Sankeys night (and the door issues have been well documented). I got told at a day party last summer I looked "dodgy". I mean without being a knob, I was wearing a McQueen t-shirt, smart shorts etc and of all the names you could ever call me - "dodgy" is not one!
