#Brexit

Did anyone vote Green? I did. What's the point in building a society if we don't have a planet to enjoy it on.

That's the most damning part of this election for me. Despite the overwhelming evidence that we are failing the planet no one, bar the Greens (even they don't go far enough in my opinion) is voting to make the environmental changes we so desperately need. We are fickle and short term.
im all for global warming -make Britain warmer.

We're all f***ed anyhow with incoming geomagnetic reversal, so I wouldnt worry about the Green Party.

Portsmouth and hull are the 2 cities that will go first in around 20-30 years (with more flooding events earlier) unless a massive investment in flood defences. (Hull is basically a river delta flood plain)

I'm in 3 story town house. Guess downstairs becomes the "moat" lol

I've voted Green before. Didn't have a Green candidate this time - they stepped aside for the SNP. I would have voted tactically for the SNP anyway to keep the tories out. If you care about green issues, don't vote Tory - remember who side-stepped the climate change debate.

Was thinking about joining Scottish Greens, but they're so far away from power I might be better off giving money to charities who deal with the stuff I care about instead.

Andrew Neil tore Green Party woman to shreds the other night, rightly so too. Whats the point in going through all that what they pledged when you got China doing what they are doing?

Someone has to start, set an example and hopefully influence. 'let's trash the planet because others are doing so' doesn't cut it.
Yeah that'll work with one mp. UK does well at cutting fossil fuel emissions as it is, bigger things to sort out thats why the greens get no where

Not threat, just common sense.
Health insurance did spring to my mind, because I pay around 900 euros/month. And it's on the rise every year.
I wonder how many brits will be depending on social help/benefits.
The NHS isn’t free.

How do I unsubscribe from the constant stream of BS that you pedal on here?
Don't cry snowflake, its over now. Another reason why you lost referendum & last night, out of touch

I suggest you start listening to us instead of your own delusional views. You might get somewhere

Wow you edited that post twice, you must have really thought it through! Shame it makes little to no sense.

The NHS isn’t free.

Wait till it gets completely privatized.

PRIVATIZATION AT THE NHS? AMERICAN BUSINESS INTERESTS SEEK GROWING SHARE OF U.K.’S HEALTH SYSTEM

Acadia Healthcare Company, a firm based in Franklin, Tennessee, owns the Priory chain of hospitals in the U.K. The company has repeatedly boasted to investors that it continues to see revenue growth from its NHS operations. Acadia CEO Debra Osteen, on an investor conference call last month discussing the firm’s U.K. assets, said that her company is “well positioned to take advantage of future demands across our service lines.”

Steve Filton, the executive vice president and chief financial officer of Universal Health Services, a Pennsylvania health care company, presented last year at the Global Healthcare Conference hosted by UBS, the Swiss investment bank. In 2014, UHS made an acquisition into the U.K. market, purchasing Cygnet Health Care, and continued an acquisition spree to become one of the largest operator of privately-run psychiatric hospitals in the NHS system.

Scotland = its hardly the independance that they crave is it? Is it worth splitting the union for?

As for working in different countries, its quite easy if you have the required skills? Which is what every country should be like IMO? Just look how many non EU people are working here, and how many have emigrated?

Labour have kept saying Torys will sell off the NHS for years, yet.... its still here?

Corbyn is a champagne socialist, can't even keep his party together especially with his anti semetic problems, what chance they got running the UK?

You vote Lib Dems and all you would get is a gender neutral bog in every bar/pub, not forgetting the cancellation of brexit? Hardly democratic is it? The options are total shite who to vote
The Scots say, like the Irish and people from Welsh, that they want to leave "Great B. and stay in "Europa"so what do you have left?

How they going to plug the £10bn subsidy they get from Westminster every year? How they going to carry on public spending 14% per head more than the rest of the UK while their deficit runs at 7% of GDP?
