hello commuters with your computersLatest Balearic Sunrise…
Seem to be spending all my time in darkness and cold at the moment with short days and a commute so went more for a curated collection of songs to suit the mood rather than a mix this month.
John Martyn - Small Hours
Shabson, Krgovich and Harris - I Don’t see the Moon
Low - Point of Disgust
Richard Hawley - The Nights Are Cold
Alabaster Deplume - The Sound of My Feet on This Earth
Sault - Pray for Me
Dean Blunt - the rot
Momoko Gill - "close2farr
Mazzy Star - Into Dust
This Mortal Coil - Song to the Siren
Moby - When It’s Cold I’d Like to Die
The Blue Nile - The Downtown Lights
Bon Iver - Re:Stacks

Back to monthly shows again after a bit of a break in January!
Struggled to get this together if I'm honest - was fighting the lurgy last week and I'd chopped and changed my mind about what I was going to put out...so its a not so balearic mix this month...lot's of new music around at the moment though so should be a lot easier to be inspired for March!
Went for soulful, Sunday vibes in the end which may not be everyone's bag here...
Sweet & Innocent - Express Your Love
The Ethics - Lost in a Lonely World
YAW - Where Would You Be
The Supreme Jubilees - Do You Believe
Bobby Caldwell - Down for the Third Time
Boards of Canada - Roygbiv
Ron Trent - Never Too Far
Womack & Womack - MPB (Folk Mix)
Can - Vitamin C
Blue Iverson - Hush Money
Jill Scott - Slowly Surely (Theo Parrish Re-edit)
Viola Wills - Dare to Dream
Donna McGee - Make it Last Foreve
George Benson - Love x Love
A few faves from 2026 so far. Everything from ambient jazz to ALFOS heatbombs

you’ve just managed to reintroduce me to Gazzz696, i’d been trying to find that user again, nice track too.I think this is my fave JV, which am not sure ever got official clearance. He basically took the elements from an old Bunny Sigler track and turned it into this whirling psychedelic disco carousel, which I only ever heard it out once. The term 'journey' is much overused but this really is the tits.
