It was a change of pace from the clubs and events but I thought the 70s music was refreshing but got boring quick. It was also really expensive by cab to go there and back...didn't think It was worth it.
It was my last day on the island too so maybe being knackered from all the partying took its toll on me and something quieter woulda been nicer.
 
I have a question for the experienced party-goers here. Me and my missus are planning to going to ibiza on September 13th and we are planning to go to Afterlife for Maceo Plex and Tale of Us on thursday. I heard in Ibiza some clubs are rammed, not enough space to dance and impossible to enjoy almost (especially with your soon to be wife maybe you can be more concerned and protective) so shall we try to go to VIP behind the dj booth to make sure that we will be comfortable or hopefully in mid September ibiza will not be that crowded..

By the way i hate VIP culture as well and never did that before, but this reputation of being not able to enjoy the music because of the over capacity is making me think twice about getting a regular ticket. Any help is appreciated.

I think early to mid September should be fine. I wouldn't bother with vip.

Its only once you get to closing week that it can be a bit intense especially at the bigger nights.

Its always wise to have a plan b.

I found it fine to move around in the main room on the sides and back. There's a middle room between the main room and chamber which is pretty clear of people most of the time, so you could chill out there if you need to. The second room as well is pretty scare of folks too.
 
I think you'll be just fine. We went to ToU last year around the same time and while it was busy (old space terrace) there was plent of room at the sides. We had dixon which is one reason it may have been quite busy
 
Is anyone heading to Afterlife this week?

Really intrigued to find out what sort of set Jamie Jones is going to play.
 
just went twice in a row so not going this week. bit of bedouin and damian at destino on thursday eve and then zzzzz

I did. I went because of them, but as stated elsewhere I have to say I was very positively surprised by tale of us too. superb night last thursday, one of the highlights of the summer so far.

have a great night, expect vista club to be a lot busier than on tuesday! I´ll give you a secret tip - front right corner, just below the vip is a super spot - no traffic there and bearable in terms of crowds.
 
Looked really good musically from what I've seen on social media.

Think you had TOU b2b JJ b2b Art Department at one point.
 
my friends did a 180° at the door when they saw the guestlist queue (which apparently didn´t move for half an hour).

Absolutely heaving...took stivis tip but even there it was a bit uncomfortable for a good few hours. Have to say, it was fantastic music wise... tones of stuff id never heard some of which was absolutely awesome (and one or two I didn't get into)...how the hell can you get the playlist?

yeah when my friends told me about the queue I figured it must be uncomfy even in that corner. glad you had a great night though.
