okay, back in the land of the living..quick review:
our big night out started with dinner in can pilot - you need a proper big meal before a 24hr stint don´t you? from there, with stuffed tummies but not food-coma´ed, we made it down to privilege for 1ish. big queues outside there already. luckily we could sneak in through the back entry...I am never one to spend a lot of time in VIP or backstage areas, but I will admit that for this occasion we were all glad to have the required bands.
privilege was very very busy all night. the main room always kept being bearable while vista club did get packed from about 4am onwards. but as james pointed out further above, if you needed a bit of space you could find it round the back (in the coco loco area, around the tree). dixon, solomun and TOU were all very good and the hours from about 5 to 10am just flew by. we did spend most of time in vista club, but did venture into the main room every now and then too.
the last few hours in vista, when it was proper daylit already and not that packed anymore, were just fantastic. great vibe everywhere, trademark TOU sound, lots of smiles and a proper, proper closing party atmosphere. it stopped around 12:30 noon and it took us another hour or so before we were out of the building.
home for the usual pit stop (shower, fresh clothes, food and lots of water and a few beers) and then we were off to the afters. the pick up was at km5 parking and then you got transferred into the hills somewhere. very nice house (one I´d never been to before), not too big of an afters (maybe 250 people?), again TOU playing (even though konstantin was there too)...stayed there until close to midnight when the music stopped outside...then home and at 4am we finally went to bed.
recover & relax time now until monday night and we´ll do it all over again at cocoon closing & afterhours! my last dance of the season!
