Who wants Kids?

puppylover .. I've had 2 children and I dont have one stretch mark .. didnt get piles .. my tits arent big enough to droop ... and when I tore I asked for a couple of extra stitches !

I am now stressed though .. and I found a white hair the other day !!! (Kids do that to you .. specially when they get to teenage!)

I have inherited grey hair from my mother (totally white by the time she was 40 - I have had to dye my hair since 25....

Bet Mike was chuffed with the extra stitches - nice treat for him???

Tell you something ... having your first POO after giving birth, is horrendous ! 8O

Sorry but I am with Buckley 100% on this one! 8O

Yeah we've all gone through some very dark times in our lives, myself included, but then good times I've had far outweigh the bad times. The places I've been, the friends I've made, the love I feel for someone.... I'd hate to begrudge my child any of those things. Yes the world is a bad place, but unless the general happiness of the human spirit dies too, I don't think this is a bad place to raise a child
Just to think about the 100's of happy memories I have from my childhood, especially my senior school days :!:  I can't wait to bring a little Boo into the world and watch him/her go through exactly the same thing :D

It's shit watching them go through being bullied though ... or listening to them sat in their room crying because their friends are being horrible ... you know the sort of things ... all those things that you went through as a child/teenager ... you go through them again, but its even worse, because you so want to go through it for them, but you cant. :(

However ... when they're happy and smiley .. and when they achieve what they thought they couldnt ... :D

Like everything in life .. it's all swings and roundabouts ...

Being a teenager sucked arse. Being an adult is loads better. :)

Enjoyed my teenage years lots. Really enjoying adulthood to though, so much freedom :D

Must be so hard seeing your kids go through bad times though :?

Kids may go through bad times, but it's all part of the learning experience.

You can't wrap them up in cotton wool.

Having kids is actually quite selfish when you think about it...it puts life in perspective and makes you feel better about getting on a bit! I does hit your lifestyle hard though... :D

I wouldn't tell anyone to have kids if they didn't want them...god knows there are enough unloved\unwanted children...but for us it has been a wonderful thing and I couldn't imagine not having them now ;)

No .. I agree Drew .. but the hardest thing to do, when you want to wrap them in cotton wool, is to let them make their own mistakes .. to let them learn from their own experiences ... believe me, these are some of the hardest things for a parent !!

Maybe one day...
after ive achieved as many goals as i can and know i wont resent them for holding me back.I might even adopt,im not totally sure.
Right now i dont want kids at all,but hey who knows what the future holds and all that. :D

Well, all I gotta say is I took ten years outta my life to bring up my two sons as a single parent with no help from anyone. It was the best thing I ever did, loved every minute of it. Lived on the poverty line for the first five years (didn't even have a car 8O ), and if I had my time over I'd do it again no question. My outlook on life changed dramatically, I seemed to be out of the rat-race and have been so much more chilled ever since. I threw away a decent career and decent money for it, but I'm so much richer in other ways. My two lads are just coming up to 21 & 23 years old in Feb and March respectively. :D
