Who are you voting for ???

Sounds logistically difficult to pull off, to be honest. Maybe it's just the particular points of sale involved?

They've traditionally done reduced price promotions in certain areas at different times, so the logistics aren't impossible.

Fronty - is it happening in an obvious way, or is it disguised as just a price promotion?

Not obvious, infact didnt realise it myself ( wouldnt buy the sun) until the same discussion came up over Dinner yesterday !

As interesting this thread mey seem, do we actually know whos voting for who  :?:

Someone should do a new thread with a poll included, it'd be interesting to see the results. Non uk residents should poll also to gauge opinions.

(I'd do it but am not sure how to )

That's an interesting idea, i've never been polled before!

I could not vote for slimeball Cameron for all the tea in China. Has there EVER been a more phoney character leading a party in this country?

Struggling this year to muster the enthusiasm to vote for any of the main three. I will probably vote greens rather than not vote or spoil my paper.

Chewie i just wonder why would you vote conservative, you seem a normal guy and very sensible all apart from your political views that is ? What i want to know ( and im genuinly intrested) what makes them do it for you. This isnt a dig im just genuinly intrested why you follow them ( ie is it a historical, family tradition etc etc).

Mr Fronty.

My family is originally from HK, I never voted until the 2001 election, I didnt vote in 1997, because I felt the country needed a change, and did not like Blair, nor believed a single word he said at the time.

Im not rich, a 'toff' and couldn't give a monkeys what private school they went to nor what they get up to in their spare time.
And has ANY politician had a 'proper' job?

I would like to see a Government, thats smaller, more effective, that will protect invest in front line public services, and allow teachers, nurses, policemen to do their jobs.

I would like a Government who understands that this country and its public services can only support so many people, so I welcome a cap on unskilled non-EU immigration with numbers determined by the needs of the public and private sector.

Remember this lot have been in power for 13years, and only now are promoting the green agenda, when last year, the biggest manufacturer of offshore wind turbines was forced to close!

IF the recession didn't happen, the size of the deficit is what the govt was planning to borrow to plug their spending gaps, and now they say they can cut waste and be more efficient to the tune £15bn... why wait 13 years to be efficient.

Brown now has the City of London in his sights because of public opinion against the Bankers, didn't stop him suckling on the teat of financial goodness for over a decade - and who did put SIR Fred Goodwin get knighted for services to banking?

And look at the comments from Ed Balls, and Peter Hain today... pretty much telling each and everyone of us who live in a marginal seat to vote tactically to 'keep out the Tories' - well i say, up yours, i'll vote who I think is best placed to run the country. Many have died to give us the right to vote, and I don't need to be dictated to by politicians, desperate to cling onto their jobs, nor newspapers to make up my own mind.

Desperate indeed.

And now talk of political reform is needed because they know they ain't got a cats in hells chance of form the next Govt, Clegg has already indicated he would never prop up a Brown regime.

Lord Ashcroft or the Unions? - yes the bastard should pay his share of tax, but then again, he hasn't got the power to paralyse the country, by going on strike.

And as for the Lib Dems
Illegal Immigration amnesty... nice one. good in principal, but how do you prove you've been in the country for 10 years?
Trident - as much as no one likes Nuclear weapons, I would rather have a deterrent, than none at all, especially one based at sea, where there's the uncertainty of where they exactly are.

VAT on house building - thats really going to help people get on the ladder - the builders will simply forward the cost.

13 years and Labours record is there to see. A lot of plusses, and a lot of minuses.

Is Cameron the man? Who knows. Am I gonna vote Conservative, just because my parents did? nope, I can make up my own mind thanks.

Personally, I'm gonna give the man a chance. If he fails to deliver, kick him out in 5 years time.

That ok for you? or should i jump on the Lib Dim bandwagon on the basis of one TV Debate... ;)

Would you be saying that if HK had not been part of the former British Empire? You would probably still be living there.... ;) *ducks*

Hey Chewie,

Liked the reply, and you have valid points i enjoyed reading it and good luck to you.
Not everybodu is the same and people will follow diffrent policies. I voted labour last time and i actualy voted blair. I believe the northern ireland peace process, Minimum wage, Fast train links etc have really benefitted this country.

I would never forgive the Tory's for what they put my family through in the 80's those scares will never be healed. I like lib dems and there policies, is also agree we need a necluar deterrant how ever i agree with Clegg that the current system is out of date and the billions of pounds needed to maintain it and bring it up to date would be spent better elsewhere.

I feel that for me being late 20's this could be one of the most important decisions i will make. I also really dont want the tory's in for fear they will kill our NHS, raise intrest rates and generally take us back 30 years.

Thats my opinion though and it would be boring if everyone felt the same. Thanks for your genuine no BS response. I was just intreguied as to why you would vote conservative.

I am jumping on the Lib Dem bandwagon though Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Haaaaaaaaaaa lol.
