When are you too old?

I miss the days sitting in an Irish pub during the winter with the fire lit & suggesting to the team " fuk it, wanna book ibiza for the summer "
Happen loads times & we all booked it ....

Now im 48 years old & booking me wife 2 kids & parents for 1 a week ( but me & wife get out for 2 nights )
Believe me ibiza has got super expensive for me ffs
Used to pay for myself
now 6 people ......

Pretty much the same story for me. Last year we took mom in law for the same reason 😂. Strange milestone this year as our oldest will (although not quite legal) probably be able to get in the clubs. Youngest still only 10.
 
I am slightly younger than 50, don't feel too old for partying. I think I'll stop when "my" music is not playing anywhere anymore. Although I can well connect with melodic techno among today's music, which gives hope. And since there are still some 1970s parties, I must have at least 2 more decades of clubbing ahead of me 🤨

I remember going to Kevin&Perry at Amnesia back in 2022, with most people being of about my age. I pitied a few youngsters who were there. Must be very intimidating when most people at a party are twice your age and partying like there is no tomorrow 🤣
 
I don’t think we will stop, just as you get older you get more selective over what you go to. We are happy with one or two Ibiza trips and a couple festivals per year these days. My trips into digbeth are getting less frequent due to feeling 15 - 20 years older than everyone around me.
 
Just turned 40 and no signs of slowing!! I go solo now as my friends are finished but they never felt it like I did. Still think there’s no better therapy than a dancefloor. I also Never realised how much I enjoyed my own company until I went alone a couple years back, now I wouldn’t want it any other way! Nice to meet randoms in clubs but then just general chill and drive about different playas y pueblos Durante el dia por me cuenta 😁 il rest wen im dead I believe the saying goes. 7 days solo in September and can’t wait
