What's the biggest reaction you have seen to a tune?

One of my best exploding moments EVER was when I was on the podium in front of the Turnmills DJ Box when the Chemical Brothers were playing for Together.. I was just grooving away, and every now and then Tom would give me a grin..

Then I hear the whiney sound of first part of 'Hey Boy Hey Girl'.. I'm looking at Tom expectantly, but he's looking over his glasses smugly at me, enjoying the torture.. it builds...and builds...and builds.. by now the entire club is wetting themselves in anticipation...

When Tom finally lets the tune drop, my head explodes and I pogo around like a bloke who's pissed on a major power line - the cool thing is, Tom's doing the same thing, grabbing my hand over the dj booth and jumping in time with me

Fantastic night - those guys are my absolute heroes :D

wimpers... i got the chills when i read your moment!! God bless Bora Bora and the fabulous Gee. Those were the days.

I think the biggest reaction was when Paul van Dyk dropped Nothing But You as his ending song when I saw him at The Mayan in Los Angeles. It was a Sunday night and everyone said SCREW WORK and stayed until the very end at 4:30 AM. I mean EVERYONE stayed... in this enormous club. PvD was up there, his shirt soaked through with sweat... he leaned back and opened his arms for the last magical build up and then dropped it on us... I looked around and clubbers were jumping so high it looked like they were on trampolines. People were crying because the music was so penetrating and beautiful. I remember my face hurting afterwards from smiling so much.

A few months later I went to an in-store that PvD had at Virgin Records in downtown LA. I asked him if he remembered the set while he signed my Politics of Dancing CD... he smiled and said of course he remembered, it was one of his favorite sets. NICE 8)

Oh.. and second best.

Tiësto - ISOS 3 releaseparty, Rotterdam.

"In my memory" and "Southern sun".... whoooah!

Third must be Tiësto @ Maxime (a local club here in Norway) dropping "Delerium - Silence" (chees, I know.. but it was hot back then!)

Carl Cox @ Gatecrasher NEC - He dropped Warrior - Warrior and 15000 clubbers in the main arena went ballistic. I was right down the front, turned to face the crowd and was nearly blown off the planet by the surge of pure energy.

Eddie Halliwell @ Creamfileds 2003 - dropped an ultra hard mix of Insomnia that went a million miles an hour- nearly had to scrape me off the roof of the tent after that one

Guy Ornardel - Godskitchen Global gathering 2001 (I think!) - dropped Members of Mayday - 10 in 1. It was about 5 in the morning, everyone was flagging and the entire place just suddenly came alive and started jumping.

theres lots of them on my mind.. but the one that i cant forget was @ Bora Bora!! 2 summers ago, Gee was spinning and the place was packed (the most i'v seen in Bora Bora!).. he had some beat going on, then he stoped it as soon as a plane came closer.. THEN....

just a little more love..
just a little more peace..
its all we need.. to live a dream..
walk hand in hand.. got to understand..
that one day.. we'll live in harmonyyyyyyyyy

the croud went crazy!! ppl were jumping on tables.. each individuale on the beach was moving with the beat.. ppl in the water were dancing on it.. that moment to me was a moment in heaven 8)
