tastes like a very tender beef, and low in cholestorol too. very healthy.

Cheese lightweight!!

I had fried giant ants in Colombia which were quite tasty after about 10 rum and cokes. Also ate guinea pig and alpaca in Peru.

So... over the holidays in Peru I tried alpaca steak and guinea pig

Alpaca meat is lovely. Like a lean steak. Reminded me a little of ostrich, actually. Very nice.

I wasn't impressed with guinea pig. Tastes a lot like squirrel (had flashbacks to visiting grandma's out in the country as a child! My uncle used to hunt squirrels)

Anyone else try anything exotic lately?

There was this time I got some sort of lump in my mouth while... erm... It was dark and I wasn't in a position where I could pluck it out and examine it anyway. To this day I have no idea what it was, though have a few theories.
