What do you always do??

Make enormous lists of things to do, places to eat, stick to approximately 10% of it.

Buy a jar of olives.

Get absolutely boats on the first night (unintentionally, just happens, and its not exclusive to Ibiza either).

Can't actually think of any particular places I always go to.

Always watch at least 1 sunset at the Golden Buddha near the Gran Sol in San An. The relaxed feel to the place just gets me everytime, plus you aren't forking out €50 for the privilege of sitting down (ala Mambo)...

I'll tell you what I will be doing when we arrive in Formentera, as soon as we sort out hire car, is to go to Tamis Gastro-mania for a massive slice of spinach quiche, possibly one of the best things I've ever tasted.

The first sentence absolutely (well all of it except jar of olives)

Enjoy planning it is a major part of the experience but often is just a means for excited anticipation rather than a schedule I stick to. Too many external factors such as alcohol/etc ;-)/other people.

Interesting to see the Highlander getting a few nods had probably my most enjoyable night there last time round.

Whist I'd like to say is:

Sunset Cafés at least once.
Bora Bora at least once.
Maybe 1-3 big club nights but won't kill me if it's none these days.
Make most of beach bars whether PDB or San An (sure other areas are fine but those two resorts I know)
Day in Ibiza Town/Dalt Vila.
Not really a beach person but would like to experience Benirras.

But in reality who knows?

And also after my first time on the Island staying in San An Bay what was then often a chore (the long walk back from San An/West End) is now a must do.

Its good to be prepared but also to be relaxed about missing out. It's good to leave a few things to come back and do the next time.

l sometimes wish my head wasn't so far up my own arse that I could just breeze around going to any party regardless of music and enjoy them like I did the first couple of times I went.

I guess in recent years ive always gone down to es vedra or up to benirras.

Do you hire a car Jackofclubs?

No mate. I brought it up to the Mrs and her reply was something like:

"You driving round with your Ibiza head on in an unfamiliar country when you've only just learned how to drive on the left side of the road?!"

She had a point.

Though as I think you alluded to from what I've heard Benirras is only easily accessed by car. First seen it in Kevin and Perry and just seems magical.

It helps to have a car, although if you've only just learned how to drive it's maybe best leaving a couple years (I think you may have to anyway for insurance reasons). Could always cadge a lift or get a taxi, or even a bus to san miguel and a taxi/lift from there.

Lunch at Bar Llumbi in Es Cubells
Sundays Casita Verde
Tapas in St.Gertrudis
Use the gas station on the road from St. Eularia to Ibiza opposite Magazin.

Sunsets in between the 2 strips on the rocks with beer and a j

Lunch at Bar Llumbi in Es Cubells

Been wanting to stop off in Es Cubells for years, but for one reason or another have never made it. I had never heard of this place before but just googled it.... blimey, the view looks absolutely amazing! This has shot up to the top of the list for the forthcoming trip!

Was Very interesting to read other replies -)) deffo would alter our plans ;-))
We love - tapas at the Tapas (or la botega)? The one at the entrance to dalt villa.
Quick pizza for breakfast at Ciao Ciao (pdb). El cheringuito for lazy beach day lunch. Passion - for healthy juices and meals. Blue marlin dinner. Have not been last summer so not sure what other new places are there -/ oh, and bambudha (not sure if the name is correct).

Dinner at La Torreta, Dalt Vila
Walk up to the top of Dalt Vila, to Santa Maria d'Eivissa
Sa Trinxa at Salinas
Drive to the North of the island and explore the beaches and villages there
Travel over to San Antonio for the sunset strip (especially nice out of season!)

I love how there are always nice things to discover in Ibiza, no matter how many times I visit. Last month, I finally made it down to Atlantis - definitely worth visiting.

- Get abliterated on the first night which is normally spent mainly in Tropi!
- Drink vodka on the rocks watching the sunset (after being a cheapskate and taking a takeaway pizza to eat beforehand)
- go to lidl to get supplies as as soon as we can. Generally beer, cheese and bread.
- head out of civilisation one day with this mainly heading up to the watch tower next to Es Vedra, amazing experience
- say hello to staff in Kilties who have given me many a hangover on cocktails of Fubar over the years
- go to the pool bar opposite Hotel Llevant in San An, basically to see the old waiter who always gives me a nice greeting ever since I first going there in 2008. Feels wrong if I don't visit at least once
- go to Cream and fall in love with trance the moment you walk in the main room!
- always share a paella
- have the biggest ice cream sundae on the last night

Tropi is one of my favourite bars to attend.
Sunset.
Cream @ Amnesia almost without fail. (I've yet to miss one. This year will be my first Cream missed)
