Weekend Reports

In the evening headed out to the mulletover warehouse party, which despite the terrible organisation (a scrum to get in, 3 security checks  and an overloaded cloakroom, mile long toilet queues) was really brilliant with top notch music.

Whilst declaring my interest in defending the Mulletover gangs as friends of mine, I'd point out that the heavy security was probably them being especially carefully after two stabbings in East London parties in the last fortnight. Better safe than sorry.

Everytime I've been to a Mulletover they haven't been able to organise a pi$$-up in a brewery :spank:

Very quiet weekend.....

Fri - out for drinks after a sh1tty week at work....back to mine with friends....DVDs, lots of food and wine until we all ended up like old women snoozing on the sofa until the early hours.

Sat - super lie-in part 1...then decided to be a grown-up and visit the supermarket to re-stock my fridge and cupboards with something other than booze and chorizo and cheese.....afternoon spent on the Magners (you cannot imagine how pleased I was to see that my supermarket now sells this!!:D:D:D ) with girlfriends....dinner out......early-ish night.

Sun - super lie-in part 2.....dog walking....siesta-ing..... eating.... drinking.... footy watching.....:D

Overall....a VERY VERY cold weekend....only 6 degrees.....and did not stop raining!

Just about. Thank youfor having us at the House of Pink and letting us drink all your wine as usual. Is the One with the Big Head up yet? Are you going down the pub?

I think you need words with Lorna to sell her flat and buy one in Ealing, will save all kinds of nightmare journeys home

We have just got up and drinking the remnants of the red wine and then we're off to the pub

A pleasure, welcome to Ealing   ;)

How is Erin and her 10 pound head

I'm here! Not feeling at all bad really! My 9 pound dense head is needing water but drove here without insidencies!

yeah heavy security is understandable, and it was our fault for turning up late, but they could have at least put a a fence up to separate the guestlist and the non-guestlist queues with a barrier at the end...!

Otherwise no complaints at all, the party was brilliant, good music/crowd and not too packed. Superb, shall be visiting them again as it was my first mulletover.

Fri: Got dressed up and went to watch the ballet - was lovely....

Sat: Decided we should have a lazy day, and just mooched around and read. We went shopping for the monthly shop and then we decided to stay in, go see a man about a dog, bake some cookies and invite a couple of mates round and just have a laugh..... got to bed at 7am - funny night

Sun: got the papers, and watched the new Rocky film and also Casino Royale - absolutely loved both of them... I think I shed a little tear at Rocky in one bit...  Bed by 9.00

Mon: urgh knackered today and Saturday night/Sunday morning doesnt seems so funny now....

Sat: had a lovely walk with mrs russ through islington, along a river and past some very, very nice houses. At night time we went to two different parties in Farringdon, one sedate and chatty, the other a bangin stormer of a night. junked the first and stayed at the latter. great night out

Sun: pub from 1.00 till 9pm. feeling very, very tired and hungover today. eugh. i need to go back to bed

I like the way people talk about me like im not even here!

Buckley im glad youre keen on watching more Barca games in the future. To me every Barca game is an important game.

Had a great time on sat. Thought the music in the main room was brilliant all night. I really didnt want it to end. Great company as always

Sunday was a a bit of a mare. Managed to oversleep, I had less than an hour to get from Notting Hill to Gatwick to pick up my barry' (with sharams 'party all the time' still ringing in my ear!)
Thankfully her flight was delayed, plus i offered to pay for a 70 quid journey cab back so im very much in her good books 8)

Morbyd, was this spanish DJ the same one from the Chus and Ceballos fame?

Utterly amazing weekend. Got my enduro clubbing appetite back (though sadly not my food appetite as of yet). Ministry good and cool, and I'm sure that place is only a decent (i.e. picky) door policy away from being back up there with the best of them.

Too many hilarious moments to mention in East Bristol. (the 34 tube and train stops home not being one of them). I finally crawled into bed at 9 last night. I haven't had a Monday like this for a long time, and frankly, I'm on the verge of giving up going out ever again:(

And I don't think I need to, as let's face it, nothing will ever top hearing Party All The Time played by Sharam in the box.

The burning question is tho did you manage to watch the Barca game last night  ;)
