Weekend Plans

Didn’t think I’d be able to make it due to it being my Mum’s birthday weekend, but I’m off to rebooted 2nd birthday in Sheffield 😁

(Managed to swing it by having enough flexi-time built up in work to take Monday off, my Mum’s actual birthday. Still need to make a cake 😬)
 
Been at Disney Land, Paris, for last two glorious days with an excited 6yr old 😊 Mrs and I have enjoyed it too 😁

Sat - train to Paris. Sight seeing.

Sun - good friend is running Paris marathon in memory of his mother, an absolute diamond of woman. Shall position ourselves en route to cheer him on. More sight seeing before a late flight home.

Surprisingly broke my 5k PB this morning, was not expecting that at all. Racing to be fully fit for the Bristol 10k in a few weeks.

Rest of today will be smashing down an old workshop in the garden and lugging breezeblocks out the back.

Then tomorrow, we are hitting the bright lights of Weston Super Mare beach in the morning for a group meet up/walk type thing with lots of other Welsh Terriers and their owners. Is usually full on chaos- add the Easter holidays into the mix and I'll need a lie down tomorrow afternoon

hospital yesterday for tests. we both picked a real nasty bug in Mallorca, coughing up blood, the works, laid out all week. dunno if there is a covid variant doing the rounds but either way the nastiest cough I can remember

have lost weight though. woo-hoo. given the carbs a rest for a bit. full ketosis!

whoa. that sounds heavy. get well soon and do let us know what the tests come back with. curious to hear what you've caught and obvs hope it's nothing proper serious and that it goes away soon now.



easter plans my end include lots and lots of hikes, plus my first dance of the year - as you can probably guess, I'll go see sven at akasha. come say hi if anyone's around!
 
Fly to Venice on Thursday with the family for 5 nights, then travel to Caorle further up the coast, be spending time between There, Venice & Pordenone - Watching my Daughter in the Cornacchia World Cup youth Volleyball tournament - hoping the weather improves, as it looks like a washout at the moment!
 
Has anyone been to Progress, Manchester? I'm there for Franky Wah & Cristoph on friday and can't work out if it's indoors or out? Might have to dress for dancing in the rain
