Unreal tune.I will give this a listen right now!
I was in room 2 for Aly & Fila and enjoyed some proper trance musicI watched their set on YouTube and thought it was decent. I wanted to watch Aly & Fila in room 2 but only caught the end of it. Who else did you see? You going again tonight?
I think it’s the best it has been in a long time if you like the old trance sound. Craig Connelly, Factor B & Billy Gillies if you get past his clubland stuff have all done some good tunes in the past few years.Unreal tune.
Is the old school trance sound making a comeback? I used to love trance back in the day but haven’t dipped my toe in any new stuff for a good while as i thought all the trance dj’s had sold their soul for the more edm kinda sound - not true?
Aly & Fila never disappointI was in room 2 for Aly & Fila and enjoyed some proper trance musicI saw some of Ferry Corsten and Rueben de Ronde which was a good warm up set. Also caught the end of Factor B’s set which was really good!
Back tonight for more fun - although there’s only a couple of people I’m keen on seeing, probably won’t last until Bryan Kearney but I’ll give it a good go!
Unreal tune.

a bit off topic, but...
I did dry january, but here in spain it's almost impossible to start with that until the 6th january since that's the last day of the xmas festivities, so in reality my dry time started on 7th jan. and I've taken it into february and I'm currently still in complete teetotal mode. I had done this various times before (as in stopping to drink any alcohol for periods of time), and I don't know if it's because I'm much more sensitive in regards to how my body feels now, or the fact I get older, or the fact my job is now a physical one...to be honest, it's probably a combination of all of that, but boy after a few weeks you do feel a difference eh? I sleep much better (I'm also better rested, even if I have nights with little sleep), I don't have any morning fog lingering in my brain and I am certainly much more focused.
I am sure that once the temperatures start going up again and we head into the season, casual cold beers and wine will slowly come back - I also happily admit that I love both beer and wine too much to simply forfeit it for the rest of my life, but wow, it really makes a difference if you cut off alcohol for a while.
Completely agree mate. I’ve done dry Jan for years, usually until Valentine’s Day and it’s the best I feel all year for the last few weeks before I drink! Energy, like u say no brain fog, up nice and early blah blah blah. But yeah, I enjoy drink and luckily it’s never been a problem for me so I introduce it back. Lovely to have a break thoa bit off topic, but...

I think it's an interesting subject Stivi.a bit off topic, but...

Absolutely...I think it's an interesting subject Stivi.
Ive had some long periods off it in 2024 too, I also did Dry Jan this year until 30th until we went to Lanzarote.
I do feel absolutely fantastic when I not on the booze, I completely abstain from ANY alcohol and have normally combined with Fasted Keto or other restricted food intake along with Gym and regular exercise.
But, Im true example of an all or nothing type of person. I can manage the no booze, which in turn also leads to a lot healthier lifestyle but I can't just say have 2 pints on a Friday and thats it. Hence this weekend Ive been out Friday, Saturday and had wine on Sunday afternoon - maybe 30 units of alcohol, and previous weekend was even worse. It's not sustainable and im proper binging, I'm not rolling around drunk but it affects my energy levels massively the next day. It's definitely an age thing.
And @jimmiz I think we are very similar when it comes to our outlook; I have a love hate relationship with it.
Like @The Sun God points out, there's always something going on that tempts you towards the honey pot.
I'm out again this weekend but I'm looking now at points when I can stop for a bit.
