Weekend Plans

Really looking forward to this long weekend. 6am family roll call tomorrow, out the door sharpish to get to Kings Cross for the train to Edinburgh. Tomorrrow will be travel, settle in, kids are excited for the hotel pool, so that will see an early evening visit. Booked in for Edinburgh Castle Friday morning and then lunch here https://makarsmash.com/. I am so excited at the thought of Stornaway Black Pudding Mash, it's surely going to end in tears:lol:

Saturday planning will be done tomorrow, but I'm so happy to be taking the kids on a UK road/train trip, I've no doubt we'll have a ball.
 
Will hold off till pikes as/when confirmed. Now I have a camper van booked for first week sept but not sure whether to take it over on the ferry or if too much hassle. I was supposed to be doing another road trip to SW France with missus but in dramatic development she's now banned from re-entering EU (visa horror story) till end year so a few difficult decisions to make. Will deffo be on island at some point, just a case of when.
 
Hopefully landing on Ibiza 0940 (flying from Bristol😶) Saturday. Afternoon menu del dia, siesta (50 now😜) drinks, then off to las dalias/Akasha. Sunday kayaking then being dragged to glitterbox by daughter and friends as we're a party of ten this year. (I'll be at dc10 if I can get out of it! Can't do two nights on the trot), never been to gbox so may well enjoy it. Rest of the week I'll no doubt be in recovery from the one night out aided with good food, drink and dunks in the sea!
