Ours has always been a fussy eater and went through a lot of phases going off his food when he either ate or licked dog/pigeon/[insert anything else] poo and made himself ill, or was feeling neglected. He's fed boiled potatos and carrots with either fresh chicken, mince, liver, fish or steak every day now and fingers crossed the instances of this are much less common than when he was a puppy. Always a downer when they go into these phases, the good thing is rather like children they bounce back pretty quick once they turn the corner !

We do a combo of non allergenic dry food and slow cooked chicken thighs most nights. He does have a steak treat every now and again but ain’t that fussed on veg. He like roasties but I might try him on boiled ?, thanks for the tip there?

Thanms for the kind words everyone, it's much appreciated.

to hear he's doing better. Chicken and rice was always our go to when she was having tummy issues. Super bland but the rice helped regulate stomach acid, and would help stop any diarrhea.

Very cold here at the moment. Clear sky and no breeze so out all day.. got 6 bottles of Portuguese red wine off mate yesterday. Very nice.. . I think bottle No.3 might be opened soon... After that ,I'm anybody's..?

Superb day today. Nice walk this morning with the girls. Then popped to Waitrose to get ingredients for Stir-Up Sunday, £180 later. Made a proper boozy Christmas pud and a massive pot of mincemeat. Bottle of Pouilly-Fume in the process. Then a nice lamb roast, washed down with a bottle of Nyetimber. Amazing Sunday

yesterday: a bbq out in the campo, including getting behind the steering wheel of the land owner's tractor - such a fun day!

today: SUP'd from porroig to es cubells and back and enjoyed the sun. it's getting a lot cooler after sunset though now so tonight we lit our chimney fire for the first time this winter.
