Weekend Plans

Flying home in 90 mins 🥲
Saturday, tapas at my local. Will be hard not to compare….
Sunday, screening of Lust & Sound in West Berlin with Mark Reeder doing a Q&A afterwards. Always interesting hearing him talk and one of our fave films.

Off to Madrid later for the first time until Sunday. Have a walking tour booked as they can always be fun and give an insight from a local.

Apart from that have loose plans (using google maps saved research) of exploring the city with stops for tapas and beverages.

Undecided on night time activities so think we'll go with the flow.

Any recommendations gladly appreciated.

On the road tomorrow early to be in Valencia around 7pm.
10pm ferry to ibiza ⛴
Arriving Saturday around 5am in Portinatx, unpacking the car, siesta, then massive Spanish breakfast @Calamari..
Nothing planned for the lunch (certainly Rebrots), dinner with the friends @Shamarkanda.
Sunday Sant Joan market, and dinner @Schiano in Santa Eulalia... Can't wait...

weekend plans here look slightly different

friday - flying to switzerland in the evening.

saturday - my wife has taken up running at the tender age of 43 last summer and we're running the 10 mile run in bern together. I've done it previously when I still lived in switzerland (there was a time when I ran lots, including marathons) but I can't wait to do it again and this time togeher with my better half.

sunday - fly home and get some pasta in my belly at schiano with some northerners...

The tapas is delicious - if you like prawns head to La Casa del Abuelo https://lacasadelabuelo.es/
I went over 6 years ago and still dream of those sizzling Gambas in garlic butter and a glass of wine!

Enjoy ☀️
