Well my weekend plans are half saved! A work colleague’s partner has offered to look after the dog for me while I go on my team do for a couple of hours. Means I’ll be driving but it’s a chance to escape these 4 walls for a bit

Annoying weekend
Went to a conference Friday which I enjoy attending, paced myself afterwards and left colleagues in the bar around midnight.
From that point I've been sick, hot/cold, head ache and close to a toilet. Came home early ASAP yesterday.
Saturday night is always a decent and long drink
Hopefully be back to normal tomorrow. Few days sorting work out then off travelling at the end of the week

Usually I like a beer on a Sunday afternoon , but I’m on weekend no 3 with no beer on a Sunday and it makes a huge difference to my Monday, even if it’s only 4 or so the afternoon before.

my friend once had a whitey on a bus one morning in Camden and i had to drag him into the wetherspoons and throw him in the cubicle. the only time i’ve ever entered one of those ‘pubs’ pre-noon

Mid-week weekend coming up - Suede in Glasgow tomorrow night.
Then next actual weekend - Biig Piig in Glasgow. (Yune Pinku in support too, which could be a nice bonus.)

I might have been driving last night but getting home at 12.45 a.m means I’m feeling as rough as this morning!

We actually took the plunge and put a deposit down for the motorhome. So, a financial commitment for the next 7 years are on the cards!

Lovely van. We’ve had a caravan for the last 4 years but we are selling it now. We’ve had some great UK holidays and I can recommend some very good sites with excellent facilities.
