Weekend Plans

on friday we went to support a Geordie mate of ours who lives here and produces and plays all his own music off 2 laptops. absolutely brilliant. if you like the deeper stuff I'm into check out his aliases 'myriadd' and 'polybius trax'

last night watched all the spanish election results - rise of VOX is pretty scary... :eek:
 
Saturday we went to Elrow in Club Versuz/Labyrinth in Hasselt, Belgium.
Surprising line up with Basement Jaxx, Ilario Alicante and Luigi Madonna. Banging techno from the last one.
Lively crowd, had a great night. Club is kinda weird though, vip tables are making the dance floor small and hard to move around. Taxis at the end of the night were a disaster. Arrived in my hotel around 07.00 ish. Luckily we had a free late checkout ?

Blame your friend not me! Ya bugger. I just told you what to expect from a few of the bands. You'll have a great time in the mosh pit ? good luck ?
 
sleaford mods are pretty funny. years ago I sent jason a message on myspace (!) saying they reminded me of MC Pitman. and he replied pretty much immediately with a whole load of abuse "I'm nothing like that effing twat etc". I think he must've been quite well-oiled at the time because he sent a sheepish apology the next day!

gig here on friday night supporting my pal's label launch - first time I've djed in public for about 10 years. what can possibly go wrong.. (going to a rehearsal at his studio later!) then off to brighton, england on sunday for 2 days. it's been a while... almost misty-eyed about that boarding that bus replacement service
 
German market tommorow in Brum then onto St Pauls for a nice Italian meal with the misses

Sunday, probabley go for a curry and watch England on the evening aswell as snooker final.

Went and watched Judd Trump v Mark Allen last weekend in Coventry, was hoping to see Ronnie O'Sullivan but he was on the Friday

Had something similar last weekend... If I never hear another spin back I don't think I'll mind..

Ok so this was surprisingly excellent ... Horse Meat Disco not really noticeable but Viagra Boys and Sleaford Mods ... Can only say wow ... Not really my thing but really superb ... This was a highlight :


@Gingersolstice is in the clear (for now)
