Liverpool for football yesterday, out drinking with mates until 2am- always a good drink and most places let groups in unlike many cities.
Today nothing but recover.
Little lads Christening tomorrow, party in n a bar in town with a rooftop terrace. Children entertainers (disco/magic show etc) and a Baleric play list for after. Family looking after lad at night so a few options in town.
Monday might do a short walk. Last weekend did the 25 mile Yorkshire 3 peaks so anything will feel short

Same here fckn freezing but I do hear my OH on the phone to her sister saying she might go to her house for the night with our youngest?. She lives near the mountains and in the same village where this festival is on in August. Grounds are always open to public at weekends

Went to my first ever Trance event yesterday Liberation at Fabric. Must say thoroughly enjoyed the chance of scene from techno. Crowd was really un-posey and un-instagrammy just loads of happy people loving the music. It is undoubtedly a bit tackier with the giant Star Wars characters and all the glow in the dark stuff but to be honest it was refreshing from the moody, uninterested, black clad ket zombie vibe techno nights in London seem to have these days.
Enjoyed the music too! Although it seems like there are a few tunes that get rinsed every major Trance event so perhaps that might get a bit repetitive. Overall though I think I’m definitely a partial convert.
