Did you have fun at least?

Beyond quiet weekend. Saw my parents this weekend, and went to the V&A music for a bit of non-musical culture.

I couldn't be 100% certain. It was one of those weekends where anything was possible!

Great fun but the drive back home yesterday was one full of fear! Never been so glad to lock the door to my flat and hide from everything. Phone was off and I was just waiting for the hooded guy with the scythe to come and claim me! :cry:

Damn. I felt like that after Sheffield last weekend (well, weekend before now). Similar, wasn't going to get involved after a night out... ended up smashing it for an extra day than intended.
Drive home was horrific.

We'll never learn mate! Still got the fear! :eek: The older you get the worse it seems. If this was an 18 year old me I'd be laughing this off and planning next weekends shenanigans, whereas now I'm telling myself never again (the usual lol).

I've definitely found it harder, I was an absolute wreck after Sheffield on the journey home and the following day.
I do think part of it is not just down to age, it's to do with how long you've been smashing it as well, as to how it affects you post weekend.

On a separate note, my new club night launches on Saturday at Union in Vauxhall, London
 
100% quiet this weekend. I'll be at the gym tonight and then onto the football tomorrow where i'll be taking the car so as to avoid the booze. Having a season ticket means I feel like I'm obliged to go as if I don't then it's sort of a waste of money in the long run.

I'm off to Lanzarote in 5 weeks so I'm aiming for a succession of quiet weekends but my willpower hasn't been known to stretch to such lengths ever and I'm in Glasgow next weekend seeing Ben Nicky at SWG3 so I know i'll end up in a state after that, although hopefully not ending up at a drug den in the middle of Glasgow with a bunch of unknowns :twisted::lol:

Bierkeller in Brum tonight then on the beer for non league football day tommorow. Sutton v Stourbridge. . Dry January my arse:rolleyes:
 
Was glad to hear they ordered room service at 4am..four classic burgers with just cheese, what arrived was four burger meat with cheese and no buns..:eek:..
 
Quiet weekend accomplished and not one drop of alcohol consumed! As I'm getting older I'm not as bothered about going out most weekends and ripping the arse out it so I was quite happy to just lounge about and do nothing. My team drew 1-1 to take our unbeaten run to 11! Be happy to keep that form up and stay in the league.

Ben Nicky at SWG3 in Glasgow this weekend! :twisted:
