A Man Called Adam done the Space Terrace the other year. Their music was really cool and i'm sure they're an excellent outfit/live act, but it 100% absolutely ruined the Terrace, no-one danced, a lot of people went off to other rooms / bar - and it seemed to destroy the good work Danny Rampling had done in building the atmosphere nicely.
So i'd be a bit cagey about live bands. I would just move to another room, there's enough variety at Space.

space has never failed me yet so I'll wait and see the clouds though the dust until before I say it will not work

stuie said:there are lots of people who like both, as you'd expect, surely? you seem to be missing the discussion point Stephen, which isn't 'Do you like live music?' or 'Do you like house?', it's 'do you think live music will work with (and compliment) the existing music policy at WLS?'
stephen said:i suppose my post was directed at someone's statement that only dance music should be allowed on ibiza - it kind of led me to believe that an elitist attitude existed towards other types of music ( eg the rants against hip hop here) and so i thought i'd illustrate my point by looking at things from the obverse.
personally i don't give a monkeys what happens in space - unless of course this year's jazz fest is held there!

and i think Jazz Fest at Space is pushing this live music thing a tincy wincy bit far(although isnt that how Space started?)
