Tuesdays Ammnesia - Tonight @ Amnesia

So Tuesdays are Tonight@Ammnesia, and by the looks of it, Eric Prydz and Annie Mac are the main residents with what is looking like some exciting line ups.

How well do we reckon this night will go as it will only be mainly competing with Carl Cox @ space.

So by that logic, where do we reckon deadmau5 and roger sanchez will be this summer.

More concerned about the dire name!
Seems like they are trying to do a "Come Together" type night....

Im digging the line ups you got fun dubstep/fidgetish acts with a main course of Eric Prydz and the likes of Adam Beyer bringing the technical awesomeness.

Doesn't do it for me. Probably going appeal to the younger Brit crowd this one but are they going to stray away from San an when there is already reclaim the dancefloor and Ibiza rocks?

Same for me. Still might turn out to be a decent night, but I can't see this being an upgrade over Release yourself/Armada. Prydz headlining? Really? Sanchez & van Buuren really must have bombed in terms of revenue for Amnesia.

Music has shifted in general , im not sure on the island but i see this as a sign that dubstep has gotten pretty massive everywhere.

Pryda won't come to Australia so he is the guy i want to see the most. You could have Prydz playing btb with a hobo and i would still go.

GRRRRRRRRRRRR ill miss Prydz.

Im going from 19th of September to 4 th of October FUUUUUUUUUUUU.

Prydz and Annie Mac are probably cheaper.

I mean, no airfare for Mr Prydz! Just a car journey from London to Spain and then the ferry over from Barcelona :D

I'm thinking that there could be a Drumcode/CLR thing going on in Amnesia main room on tuesdays. Eric Prydz is more suited to have his night in the Terrace. Adam Beyer has played a few times with Eric Prydz (Exit Festival and Eric Prydz EPIC Concert in Brixton London more recently). Beyer and Liebing did a very successful Drumcode warehouse party in London last year and also alot of the acts signed to each respective label do overlap quite a bit. This is not based on actual facts just thought I'd put my prediction out there!!

My prediction wasn't bad! Beyer playing 2 nights and the closing party is pretty much Drumcode artists!

I think they will add a lot more guests to the Prydz half of the night. Something about the night just doesn't feel right to me though...I can't see the two styles of music 'fitting' together as normally each would attract a completely different crowd. Maybe that is a good thing though.

if its anything like last summer, prydz will stay in ibiza for the summer, and commute through europe that way.

i hope EP has the terrace, prefer it to the main room now.

I think the new generation is totally up for more styles. Its the Annie Mac generation, mix it all together! Also.... short attention spans.... 10 mins in one room, 10 mins in the next. These people want Department Store clubbing.... its why Come Together worked...

Just wish they'd come up with a decent name.... "TONIGHT @ Amnesia"..... is dire..... sounds like a Caberet night in Marbella....

Yeah I must be getting old...I like being in one room listening to a whole set from one DJ. You can really get into it that way as opposed to jumping rooms trying to listen to big tunes one after the other.

On the name it is going to get confusing e.g. are you going to Tonight tonight?

Did anyone catch Sasha's set at Tonight last Tuesday ? Any reviews / reports / comments on that and on the night itself would be of great interest :)

quite surprised how massive this night has been. expected it to do well but not this well. prydz has on his twitter a few weeks ago that it was the busiest tuesday in amnesia history apparently.
well done to annie mac aswell for bringing something different to amnesia! both amnesia and space have been amazing this year in terms of diversity

Agreed, it has been a huge success. I think its especially working well with the Cream crowd. i.e. seems to be quite similar in some ways. However, love some of the heavier nights too. The closing on the 6 September is as diverse as you can get between the Terrace and Main Room. The Main Room is more like a Cocoon night!

Main Room
- Adam Beyer
- Chris Liebing
- Mauro Picotto
- Paul Ritch (Live)

Terrace
- Eric Prydz
- 2000 and one
- Sébastien Léger
