if you buy an early bird ticket, then that's definitely the cheapest way as they don't have any time restrictions. as for buying a ticket at some bar where you have to consume a drink or two first, or getting a wristband deal with a time restriction, I completely agree. the money you save on entry is spent on alcohol!
 
Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't the tickets we buy on spotlight 'guestlist' entry so we don't have to turn up at the earlier time??

correct, if not stated otherwise (and this would clearly be visible in the purchase basket and on the ticket itself), our tickets normally don't have an entry time limit. there are only a few exceptions to that and they're always clearly marked

Whats the crowed like at Together? Any more knowledgeable than your average creamy?..Not been back to amnesia since i was compressed from a 12 stone man to a six stone man 2 years ago at cream, it seemed to shift my estrella love handles though ha

I think its hard to tell as Together will be SO different this year! Defected will most definitely bring bring more people in for sure. It will be very British (like Cream). Not sure it will get as busy as Cream. The only thing (slightly) going against it is the fact that Amnesia Terrace: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday has a underground / tech-house / techno vibe. I'm no expert but these 4 nights have to in some ways be competing with each other.

So you mean extra pressure to put bums on seats so to speak and could get promoted to death?...or could be quieter?

Unless defected pull something amazing for 8th and 15th september I can score this night off my visit list. Booooo! Together was a good night in 2013.
 
Couple of decent Defected line ups early on then bar 18th Aug they aren't doing it for me at all
 
Excuse my ignorance, I wouldn't have considered this until I saw the 30th June lineup - Deetron and Guti but will the booth be in it's real position where it is is for Cocoon or will that shi tey stage be erected close to the door??

good question. as it's defected I really hope they leave it at the original position, but we'll only know for sure after the opening party!
 
Thanks Stivi, yeah agreed, it'd be a shame if they moved it to the stage which in my opinion totally ruins the terrace. I remember the first time I ever went to Amnesia years ago was for Cream. I'd spent a year watching videos of Sven etc. play the terrace then I turned up and the stage was up! Took me another year to get back and see it in proper action!
 
Pleasantly surprised by the June 16th lineup...my first night in Ibiza too! The terrace alone is worth it for me but it's nice to get a change of pace with Together in the main room. Strongly considering this, unless something else is going on as well.
