The footy !!

If you see an Arsenal supporter walking a dog, get them to call 0800-4041424344 for free advice on how to hold on to a lead...........

From the BBC site regarding Spurs and their imaginary 35k season ticket waiting list!

This is being mentioned as one of the factors in moving to OS...

My theory is this is complete tosh.

I'm a member who doesn't live close to WHL but go to lots of away games plus the odd home here and there...

Recently other than the standard membership I had the option of 'Lilywhite' or 'Bronze'.

As a lilywhite I get to apply for tickets for a game, fair enough, but for an extra £5-10 or whatever it was I can become a bronze member and have priority over lilywhite members when booking tickets plus and additinal 5 loyalty points! Plus one of the perks being added to the ST waiting list.

For the record I have absolutely no intention of becoming a ST holder, because I can't commit to all home games and like the freedom of picking and choosing plus going away. I got a bronze cos it's better than lilywhite for a little extra cash and more loyalty points.

Now I know 15 other bronze members all of the same opinion. I just think Levys way off in his predictions of 35k on the waiting list and im sure there are other bronze members around the country are of the same opinion.

I just think it'll be closer to 10-15k on the waiting list. Not saying its a problem but we simply havn't got 35k on the waiting list

Besides Mr Levy also fails to mention that they failed miserably to sell out their first ever champions league game. Where was this big waiting list then if the clamour was so big to see the mighty lillywhites? Load of poppycock.

I had lunch with a Spurs-supporting mate the other day and he was spouting on about this magic waiting list. They've all drunk the cool-aid.

When's the announcement to be made?

Announcement tomorrow but all over the press here they we have won it. If there was ever a team that can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory though it is us!

I don't know one Spurs fans who wants it. Levy wants it as it is potentialy a gold mine. I thought all along that it was just scaremongering to get their council to pull their finger out and give them the planning permission. It breaks the premier league rules too if Tottingham move as you are not allowed to move boroughs. Still, rules are meant to be broken. Gold n Sullivan will sue the @rse out of them if they allow it too.

Some amazing shots going round of the ground released by West Ham. However there are 2 question marks over these pictures .

1 - The running track seems to have disappeared. Do they think we will forget about it?
2 - West Ham fans are celebrating a goal and looking happy! Can't see that happening.

Anyway not counting chickens just yet as who knows what more dirty tricks lie ahead.

message posted from the official Tottenham Twitter account admitting defeat in the race to take occupancy of the Olympic Stadium has been mysteriously removed.
The message, posted at around 3pm this afternoon (Thursday) was picked up and re-tweeted by a number of fellow users before it was removed from the club's home page. The reason? Because in it, the north London club admitted defeat in the race to move to Stratford.

"Spot the track! West Ham defeat Tottenham Hotspur in battle for Olympic Stadium," read the message before it was swiftly removed - although not before a number of people had seen it and passed it on.

 at above !! I wandered where the track had gone also !!

I sincerely hope you get it mate, but what would the implications be if you get relegated ??

No implications as it would not be till 2014 so if we do go down plenty time to get back.

The value of the club has not rocketed and I believe the porn barons have first option to buy the rest of the club at the previous agreed price.

Old Sugar moaning now that if they had known that athletics had to be kept part of the stadium they would not have bothered bidding. Pratt. Whole world knew athletics had to be kept part of it.

I wonder what Pele has to say about it all?

Ronaldo

Retired from football today great career for country and for teams he played on. It was time to let go.

it was partly injury and partly the grief from corinthians fans that caused him to retire (and roberto carlos to leave)

great player, his year under robson at barca was amazing, especially THAT goal against Compostela

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NC57WLJYmUE

he will always be remembered though for that WC Final though - loads of outlandish conspiracy theories did the rounds at the time about dark forces at nike pulling strings, but I think he was just desperate to play through the pain in a world cup final

....and for the "Minge Fringe"
