The footy !!

arsenal actually had an end product for once.

Well i hope that end product is lacking when Leeds pay a visit to the Emirates on Jan 8th 2011. Mind you if Arsenal were to beat us then i'd prefer it's them rather than the SCUM who play in red across the Pennines and no i don't mean Liverpool. ;)

Super Leeds "Marching On Together":D

Great win for the gunners. I just hope the injury bug stays away, I like our chances for the EPL title, but it is just mid-season.

I quite fancy Ancelotti to get the push before the season end, and Roberto Di Matteo to be tapped up from the Baggies...

Thoughts?

No chance. Its all gone Pete Tong since Ray Wilkins left. Not sure of the full story there but there's bound to be politics involved. If Ancelotti does go, it will be on the back of a Champions League early exit....not the prem.

Its about time Arsenal did something at home against one of the better teams, I wouldnt read too much into it. Chelsea are not playing well thats all. Arsenal were the home team and deserved the win....still not good enough to win the Prem though..........

I concur on both counts

Another poor showing from the big clubs last night. Arsenal throw away a lead again, Chelsea eek past Bolton, Liverpool lose to Wolves.

Hodgson to go?

Hodgson to go?

95% of fans on a recent LFC forum poll seem to think so.

Didier Deschamps is the favoured successor....

I don't like to hear boos from home fans towards any player or manager but Woy isn't doing himself any favours at the moment..

Paul Konchesky's Mum isn't helping either!

Seeing as you asked...

LIVERPOOL left back Paul Konchesky found himself in an embarrassing fix after LFC fans were branded ‘Scouse scum' on his mother's Facebook site.
Carol Konchesky, apparently stung by criticism of the former Fulham player, aimed a foul mouthed rant at the club he joined for £4m over the summer.
In a post written on November 14 after Liverpool's 2-0 defeat to Stoke, but which is today trending on Twitter, Mrs Konchesky told LFC to stop ‘living off the past' and said her son's side were: ‘sh*t'.

She drew sympathy from one friend who told her to ignore ‘dirty Scousers' and ‘clueless morons', while another said: 'the Liverpool scum don't know class when it hits them in the face'.
The Facebook account, which was open for all to see, was hastily taken down when news began to spread and fans sent in angry messages.
It wasn't the first anti-Scouse sentiment to emerge from Dagenham-based Mrs Konchesky, who in an earlier post, said the family would not be moving to Liverpool with their son as ‘we don't like the way they talk'.
Barking-born Konchesky, 29, was a West Ham academy trainee who only crossed the Watford Gap when he followed his former Fulham boss Roy Hodgson to Liverpool in September.
He previously played for Charlton Athletic, West Ham, Tottenham and Fulham.
Konchesky, who now lives in Merseyside, has so far failed to impress during Liverpool's worst start to a season in fifty years.

Questions:

How did Arsenal not score against City? Absolutely battered them for 90 mins.

What did Jableta do to get sent off? Other than receive a very weak headbutt, that is.

How long can Woy, Carlo and Avram last?

Sometime you are not lucky enough for the ball to find the back of the net

Love it, Mancini's team does a job and gets the draw it wanted by being defensive, and they're a disgrace to the game and the enemy of the world (according to some media)

Man Utd and Chelsea apply the same tactics at Barca in the Champions League two years running and its tactical genius and professional..

I think it's fair to say Arsenal won't deploy those tactics - and have thus already signed their own death warrant..

*a gooner mate is going to try and get some tix but he reckons £60+ which is a bit ouch.. :(

Agree Ferd with the bias of the media, but I don't think City did a job really, as much as they tried. On another day they'd have lost by five, they were very lucky and the amount of space they gave Van Persie to pick shots whenever he wanted says to me they didn't make that luck!

I agree but sometimes it is better to lucky than good. The score line did not reflect how the match went.

the dramatic and sudden decline of CFC as a prominent football force post mysterious Wilkins departure is a cause for international jubilation imho
