it was the constant "oh i lost the ball, best just wander about.." Oi Viera NO!!, chase the bloody ball and get it back, even Mancini was today stating on local radio he's not very good. One of Tevez's goals was laid on by viera but even that was a lucky oooff over the defenders!

As the head football writer of the Daily Mirror put it to me, Carvalho is the best cheater in the Premier League.

Deco, for his faults, does have skills... when he uses them, it's a thing to behold.

Don't throw stones though, grego.. Benitez, for example, boosted Mascherano.

And Mourinho has cultivated players like Paolo Ferrera who, while not the best right back in town, is a really stand-up guy.

well there you go. i'm not saying he hasn't got qualities nor saying that our ship is perfect by any means either.

just explaining why i don't want him.

Jury still out on mancini, yes we are defending much better, but sometimes (like monday) we just look so lack lustre, up to 70 mins we didnt look like scoring despite the industry of Tevez. Tev, Johnson, Bellamy, De Jong and VK aside no one was bothered :?

that said it's not his squad, he inherited it and we are still in with a shout of 4th. so cant be all bad?
 
and the first season for years that we don't spend january onwards looking at the points, praying to hit 40 and not being in a relegation dogfight !

I apparently watched the wrong game.. Sounds like it was quite a match at Emirates! 8O

2 away goals should still wrap it up for Barca though, no?

In Milan, CSKA kept it even in the first half but got overrun in the 2nd. Lucky to escape back to Moscow with only 1-0. Looking forward to going to the match next week.
 
post-match thoughts

Barça bossed the first 50minutes (horses against tanks) (at times it was embarrassing)
Walcott made a massive difference
the penalty was non-existent
the sending off was even more non-existent than the penalty
Barça should still do it, despite being without 2 key centre backs
edgar davids looks odd without those bono shades
I feel depressed
