A deserved draw for my local favorites CSKA Moscow against Real tonight. :) Little chance of them making through in Madrid but they've given themselves a chance. Not bad for their first game back after the winter break and with a much-changed line-up :!:

Now fingers crossed for Chelsea in Napoli...

So frustrated after that showing. School boy defending leading to all of Napoli's goals. Thank God we were given that gift of an away goal, gives us some hope back at the Bridge. Wont hold my breath though! Serious improvement needed. Just feel sorry for the guys who sit next to me week on week there who decided to go out there for it tonight! :spank:

A bunch of my London friends made the trip as well. I seriously thought about going (I also have a good Italian friend who lives here but is home in Napoli at the moment) but prioritized other travel. Glad I did!

I thought we were better attacking than we've been for a while. Great to have Drogba back in the line-up. But our defending was nightmarishly poor

JT out for 2 months. Not good :(

Good news you guys are not in as bad shape as the gunner and I don't Napoli travel that well. They will play defensively me thinks.

Villas Boas to hold Chelsea press conference at 12.45.

Looks like Roman is about to tire of another expensive toy

Benitez now favourite to replace him

Everything you need to know about that little story in this one sentence...

Good day's footy yesterday. Arsenal Spurs a great game for neutrals and semi-Gooners like me. Either defence would get torn to shreds by Citeh

Cup final was pretty watchable too. Stevie G's cousin must be miserable today!

And in the weekend's most important game, an injured Buckers soldiered on after tweaking both hamstrings (as we had no subs I had to hobble around up front) and scored the winner in the last minute. We'd managed to surrender a 2-0 lead but my deft finish (from about a yard:lol:) killed them dead.

Chelsea fans are invited to arrive at the training ground at 9am tomorrow to celebrate the club's first silverware of the season.

...Raul Meireles's Carling Cup winner's medal.

The first 30 minutes of the Arsenal match showed what is wrong with the gunners back 4. The come back win was great. The Carling cup was a great match, I think Cardiff ran out of gas at the end of the match.
