That is an excellent find!Just been watching the first half of the QPR v Newcastle game..Warnock has done some very good business in the transfer window and he's got himself a very good squad. Should easily stay up this season.

That quote came out last week (oh how the press love to drag these stories out...) so I'm sure any inquest among players has already been held!
Perhaps the real reason why Torres was benched on Saturday? Didn't bother me as Sturridge was in top form.

Yeah I can imagine Torres form isnt worrying most Chelsea fans The English translation yes, thats why Boas has asked for the Spanish version, obv things can get lost in tranlsation, or confused even.

I think the actual quote in Spanish was more a comment that the style of play was slow (slow build-up instead of fast breaks) than that the players were slow...On this site yes, but that isnt where the translation got misquoted.

Anyway, water under the bridge. No goals for Torres but 2 vital assists last night. Not a bad days work for the boy.

Your 35 mil for Carroll hasn't turned out so great either so pipe down over there
I'm still holding out hope Torres will come good (my heart bleeds for the money we spent!). He had good games last night and against Stoke in the season opener. Mata (stellar purchase, by the way!) will be provide better service so we'll see how it goes this season. I'm comfortable with a Mata-Torres-Sturridge front 3.
