The building formerly known as Space --> HÏ Ibiza

as I had expected the black coffee line ups are so far the best ones coming out of hï's kitchen. there are some really really good dates. dj harvey all night long, larry heard live, the keinemusik club room takeovers...hats off.

yes, agree!

hi-fives to their team

I second that notion. Club room takeovers are really where it's at in my opinion. Do Not Sit with Behrouz, Thuggy, and Billy Pats, Guy Gerber/Antal, and Wizardry all Night (Tennis, Three and Laz). Would choose this over Elrow without a doubt.

Edit: i guess third the notion!

Very happy with Black Coffee's party on June 17...Must check out the Hi for that party and hopefully will be a very clued in crowd.

THEATRE - Black Coffee | ÂME (live) | Culoe de Song

That is almost a perfect line-up!

Larry Heard for me is The Master, The Architect, The Founding Father

if you're in town that night, and never heard him before, do yourselves a favour and get down there

guaranteed goosebumps every time

black coffee lineups changed my plans - originally had not planned on going there. but got a KEINEMUSIK takeover all night long when I'm there. adam port, &me and rampa.
pure bliss, please go and check this out guys, if you have a chance!! especially if you love woomoon, acid sundays, rumours or bedouin.

I'm a big fan of Rampa, but I wonder if i caught the Keinemusik crew on an off night. I saw there all nighter at BPM last year in 2016 and in my opinion it was just terrible. Never bothered to try again after in fear of just wasting a night, maybe its time if i can catch them at some point to try again.

Should def try again. Those BPM parties overall are hit or miss depending on the venue.

Keinemusik has been on point. Adam Port was in New York a few times last year and played great...Verboten, Flash and a 23 Meadow. 23 Meadow he dropped this monster tune that I have only heard Victor Calderone play maybe 2011-12 ago and Jamie Jones dropped it in Chicago a year or 2 later. Michael Jackson vocals ftw.

I've never run into you in NY...maybe one day.

I do far less these days than I used to but i was at Dixon for Blk Market and Solomun for Tek Support (which i was furious about bc of the venue) more recently. I'll be at Output roof a bunch for the summer (especially for Cassy and Guy Gerber) but not so much else really. I'm trying to sneak a trip to Ibiza somehow this Sept, possibly even for closings, are you going this year?

Re: the actual topic, maybe it just wasnt to my taste, listening to that track you posted, not really a sound i gravitate towards these days.

What didn't you like about the Solomun venue?

What didn't you like about the Solomun venue?

Everything, it was far too small for the amount of people. Every corner was jammed and the fact it was promoted as a warehouse and got put at Highline Ballroom was a joke. I know it's getting tough for promoters to secure warehouse locations in Brooklyn and elsewhere but it was overall just a really poor showing by Tek Support. I thought Solomun was good for the most part, but it was a tough party to enjoy for me at least.

Ohhh I thought you were talking about their first Solomun event back in Dec. didn't go to that second weekday one.

That's really good!!! Not quite sure what i've been listening to when i've heard him in DC-10 etc, but i've never been able to get into it when listening to him live... I stand corrected though, this is amazing!! :D:eek:

I guess depends what you're into

Personally I think his blend of modern house, German grooves and african infuences is a winner. very henrik schwarz in places

As an Easter Egg, you can see Luciano vibing to his set off to the side! I much enjoyed this too
