Oh you tease you!
sure you're not sure?![]()
And that's not very BIG.ah guetta will keep doing the same he has been doing the last few years
@stivi suggested Tuesday or Wednesday. Is that still the case? Knowing which day would be a big help to my marriage.Would think with the fees he could command playing elsewhere that Saturdays are ruled-out for Prydz??
(though I'm not suggesting he is money orientated)
Did I read somewhere dimitri vegas and like mike are changing venue?
What about prydz in that amnesia Sunday slot? Dv&lm to hi ibiza?
I think Hi will have a 90s party. They posted something on Facebook about 90s kids and make party
WHO CARES?Did I read somewhere dimitri vegas and like mike are changing venue? What about prydz in that amnesia Sunday slot? Dv&lm to hi ibiza?

I always hear people say that Eric Prydz is like a guilty please for those who are into techno/tech house etc and as usual its always a matter of opinion but i think under any moniker whether it be pryda, cirez d, or whatever, he is just flat out boring. I like some of his production under Cirez D but i just dont find what he does worth a listen especially in a place like Ibiza where you probably have other options.
All about opinions and what you like. He's not your bag so fair enough. He was pretty prolific with liberate, generate and opus two years ago. Last year in the reds was a terrific tune. He sold out a 5k capacity venue for epic 5.0 in London in May this year in less than an hour. He may not be hot for you but he is for many right now on production, dj and promoter levels which is pretty impressive.couldn't agree more. plus: these days prydz is about as hot as steve angello. which is: not. I can only see this fail (if it happens)

Never said he wasn't prolific or a hot ticket if he went with a residency I'm sure it would do well. My point was a lot of people into techno or tech house or other "underground" defined sounds find Prydz a guilty please which i just dont really understand. It was more a curiosity of what draws people into that scene to him because he is certainly not that sound. It wasn't to argue whether or not he is good or puts on a good show which I'm sure tons of people will argue in his favor with the Epic events. You're welcome to enjoy his sound if you do.
I know you didn't, chris. I wasn't replying to your post. I was replying to the poster that said he wasn't hot when for many he patently is.Never said he wasn't prolific or a hot ticket if he went with a residency I'm sure it would do well. He's probably regarded as a guilty pleasure because of call on me.
What he can achieve in 3 minutes with a tune is as clever as some of the best pop songs ever made.
you're joking, right ?I fall into the guilty pleasure camp. I **think** for many of us in mid 30s he probably does remind us of that mid 90s prog stuff that we grew up with. However, I think the reason why the likes of Prydz is also one of the few producers / DJs that many underground lovers and DJs respect, is that before the mass market of Calvin, SHM etc he was pretty much the entry route to dance to a lot of people. In addition to this the guy has stayed true to his sound mostly, never got on that full EDM-sound-add a rapper vocals etc. What he can achieve in 3 minutes with a tune is as clever as some of the best pop songs ever made.
