The building formerly known as Space --> HÏ Ibiza

I have the same issue with him (Kölsch) as I do Andrea Olivia. Hear them once a year and they are good. But it's the same every time from my experience.

Maybe your right, he probably will be the second one in row on the Prydz nights... (as he is going to have an "epic" night)

Separately but still related, Andrea Oliva b2b Davide Squillace found them to be very boring at the Ants party for BPM this year (set is up on Be-At Tv if anyones is interested). Matthias Tanzmann played what i thought was one of the best sets of the week even if only hour and a half (slightly subjective as he is a favorite of mine though).

It really was an absolute blinder of a set that, agree! I think Matthias Tanzmann is a very consistent DJ. Nothing groundbreaking, but he always plays a solid set from the many times I've seen him.

Personally I would've preferred it if Squillace goes B2B with Tanzmann instead of with Oliva for reasons I've mentioned in the past. Won't repeat myself here again

Are they gonna connect Ushuaia and Hi with a tunnel or anything? I thought I read something about that or am i imagining things?

If not, then will they have events that have both ush and hi open and do like a multi room access thing? I think it'd be cool, but without a tunnel it can cause major traffic issues on the road...

this rumor (a tunnel or a bridge) has been around for about 3 years. I might be wrong, but I believe that won't happen.

no I don't think they'll go down that route. again I might be proven wrong, but it's actually rather simple
5pm - midnight (3pm for ants) --> open air party at ushuaïa
midnight - 7am --> nighttime party at hï

if no Fligh area, what is the point to go to a party with djs u will see b4, Ushuaia Opening Dc10 Opening Ants(its not planned)...No much House Djs in order to make me pay 60€ for that ; Techno & TechHouse, that dont sound very balearic :D im fine with Black coffe Andrea Oliva Kolsch Mathias Tanzman ..Luciano squillace voorn Fanciulli bored me to hell  We will see that day if we have enough stamina for this :?:

I know the discussion has been held before, but if this did actually happen along with the change of momentum in PDB regarding Bora Bora turning to what will look like a higher end pool party, we may as we call it Playa Den Vegas.

I've gone to Las Vegas at least once a year, just about every year for nearly the last 10 and I've always wondered why younger Europeans (21-25) traveled to Vegas for the party scene. I've said why not go to Ibiza or Mykonos or 'insert here' and travel all the way to Vegas and i was always told they didn't have the same 'kind' of partying which i thought to be true having done both as Vegas night and dayclubbing caters far more to the upscale or vip client. It would seem with the likes of Ushuaia, Hi, Hard Rock, Bora Bora, there is start to show some eerie similarities.

Re the discussions around San Antonio, lets not forget it was only 9 months ago at IMS that Pete Tong disgracefully called it "embarrassing". I'm delighted Simon Dunmore has taken Defected to Eden and I suspect more promoters will follow suit - To prove Tong wrong, but mainly to kick start the renaissance of a very important town in Ibiza that has a lot more to offer than PDB in my opinion.

His comments on San an were really shitty

Agree. PDB will be Vegas. The sad thing is Vegas day partying may actually be better considering all the ridulous rules and regulations Ibiza has.

Young Europeans prolly like going to Vegas also because because it focuses more on top 40 and cheese.

And what's happening with Bora Bora? At least this was a last resort option to keep on partying but then they started to shut it down late in the season last year arrgh.

Stivi what I meant about Ushuaia and Hi is if they kept both places open at the same for multi venue partying, not have one open after the other. But I don't think ppl are gonna go to a club in the daytime, so it would work best late night but we all know about the open air party restrictions Beefa has, so there's no way Ushuaia would be open then

I remember meeting Tong at the baggage carrossel as he was on same flight as me when he was doing Wonderland and saying "are you playing tonight" and he said "unfortunately". Now, i might have been a twat but no need for him to diss his bread and butter. He went down in my opinion since then.
