And you should make it ice cold water. There's a small but existent calorie-burning effect as your body heats the water to body temperature.
I've read otherwise... like I said, the lower temperature forces your body into action to heat the water (perhaps this could take away from other food-burning activity, but we're talking about in-between meals).puppylover said:Actually that's wrong - it should be room temp water as ice cold will slow down your metabolism - but as I cant bear warmish water - it has to be very very icy for me to drink it so I take no notice of this rule....
